ANN doesn't even have a plot summary for this yet, so I stole it from Anime-Source.

MÄRCHEN AWAKENS ROMANCE ("Märchen" being German for fairy-tale) tells the story of Toramizu Ginta, a 14-year-old middle school student, who has had 102 dreams (so far) about the "land of Märchen". He spends his days playing rpgs on consoles or day-dreaming about "Märchen".

He is short, has no stamina and really bad eyesight. His one true friend is classmate and childhood friend, the very cute Koyuki, who is truly interested in the amazing stories that happen to Ginta in his sleep. Ginta's favorite wish is to truly visit the land of his dreams, although his single-parenting mother drags him down to reality again and again. Ginta truly dreads growing up and losing the incredible land he has seen so often...

But the next day while in class a dimensional door opens and the whole class comes into contact with the strange world that Ginta has so often dreamed about. The door offers Ginta the chance to truly come across to MÄR-HEAVEN, but he has to come alone. Ginta can't help but try to make his dreams real and leaves his world (and Koyuki) behind, crossing over.

In MÄR-HEAVEN Ginta is still short, but his eyesight improves and he finds out that he has attained incredible strength. A chance meeting with a rather cute sorceress named Dorothy teaches him about magic in MÄR-HEAVEN, which resides in ÄRMS (magical jewelery that can turn into all kinds of defensive or offensive devices and serve the light as well as the dark, depending on the wearer and his or her intentions).

Actually Dorothy is a rather greedy ÄRM collector who wants a very rare ÄRM that belonged to the deceased leader of the last army of Darkness defeated in MÄR-HEAVEN. She thinks Ginta can help her get it ~ this is how he meets Babbo, the opinionated self-proclaimed gentleman ÄRM (who can talk!) who looks like a Kendama.

Edited for simple grammar mistakes.

I'm really liking this show so far. I can't really say much more than that. It's just good.

Give it a shot, see if you enjoy it.

9 episodes out by now.

The series is terrific so far. It's entered a block that just happens to rule. Then again, I'm baised toward the scenes in anime where the main character undergoes training. It's just so cool for some reason.

Still highly recommended.

Ah, I read the manga for this, and it rocked. I didn't know an anime existed. I'm off to DL it.

I have given up on A-Kraze & Froth-Bite. Seriously. It's getting sad.

C1 put out 14 AND 15 already. 14 has a new ending, following the new trend that animes use wherein they run an intro for a season and an ending for a half a season.

The old ending song was much better.

You could always tell us your name.

I did that somewhere among my almost 4,000 posts. Hunt for it.
