I've been looking for a download link for something I can create Dubstep with. I asked Silentoath, but he hasn't been online unfortunately. Anyone got one for me? Because I want to make a dubstep remix of Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life".

This video doesn't have the best quality, but ah well.

EDIT: Better quality :)

The best application for amateurs would probably be FL Studios. After you get it look up some tutorials for using it and making dubstep on it.

That's what people told me last time, but I couldn't find the download link, do you have any idea where it may be?

It's $600. When I've messed around with it I just pirated it.

600$? Seriously? That's rediculous...

Not really, the programming that goes into something like that is seriously insane and it doesn't have the kind of market of people buying it as video games do xD That's why I recommend that you pirate it though since you're not really doing this to make money or anything.

True, it's just that it seems rediculous to me because I'm not old enough to get a *good* job, so 600$ seems like a hella lot more money.

But yea, I'm not one for pirating things. Unless I really feel I should, I probably won't do it.

EDIT: Honestly though, I'll probably just ask someone who's great at making remixes (silentoath) to maybe make a remix of it. Though it'll probably get declined, I'll at least get to say I tried. :/

It is NOT $600. Where the **** are you getting that figure. Try $300 for the most expensive package. $200 for the second most expensive. $100 for the 3rd most expensive, and $50 for the cheapest. I wouldn't bother with the two cheapest ones though. Go for Producer edition, or Signature.

Why in the living world would you kill such a good song with such shit? (Talking the genre not you can't emphasize that enough there's a difference.)

No offense but remixing evanescence is a stupid idea.

Just saying.

Dubstep isn't something your going to pick up on overnight.. haha

Try spending months maybe years practicing, getting down the basics of FL and THEN maybe try to do something like that.

Dubstep is actually pretty tough to get used to making because of how it sounds really slow but it's actually around 140BPM. FL Studio is great, not just for amateurs, but for pros as well.

This guy uses FL Studio 9 XXL (I have him on facebook and he told me. Sytrus + Massive = his sounds)

People need to stop categorizing music production software into genres....

Fl Studios, Ableton, Logic Pro (Max OSX only) are all great software for making dubstep.

More like any DAW with VST capabilities and synth capabilities, IE every daw in existence.
