I probably could have done better in the ending but the nerves of being to FC the sob took over after I managed to FC through the 24th stream and PA got messy after. :/

Thanks, I have to keep restarting that comp though, each time I open a web browser to post scores, even after closing it I get massive lag spikes. I am not proud of that EHHS at all, I wish I had the speed to play it.

It's true you should keep playing things out of your comfort zone, but it's possible to take that too far. 800 boos on EHHS means you should probably be practicing on Lunatic Princess or something around that difficulty for now, imo. You might improve faster. Just don't get really comfortable with 10s and NEVER move to 11s and 12s. I was still playing 10s long after I was actually getting skill boosts from it. It's your call, but I wouldn't force FMOs just yet.

Given how well you handled that section I'm sure you can FC the file.

I have two tips after watching the replay- first, on an FC run just jumptrill the non-split rolls. They're fast enough to jumptrill and AAA, and even if you derp a few goods it's better than missing. Remember this IS a comboscoring game and no mater how much the haters try to convince you that "cheating" a pattern is bad, you can just laugh all the way to the podium.
The other tip is to play more stamina draining files. Don't overdo it, but play a file like Pants or one of the easier but still draining files on Dossar Engine once in a while and it will really add up. There's a wealth of long, dumpy, stamina-raping files for SM too, just look at oh any Dragonforce simfile ever (when I was your skill level I played linus My Spirit Will Go On file to death, I could barely read it but I didn't care, I always just kept pushing for lower and lower CBs... I think it paid off, plus I had a lot of fun!)

p.s. not gonna chime in with the "gtfo D2 crap" because what I see is someone who was pretty clearly a D2 player at the start, but is playing a lot, working on their weak points, and improving. No shame in that

got an epic advice from exzezero, just play the fast rolls as switching jumps first:

I have two tips after watching the replay- first, on an FC run just jumptrill the non-split rolls. They're fast enough to jumptrill and AAA, and even if you derp a few goods it's better than missing. Remember this IS a comboscoring game and no mater how much the haters try to convince you that "cheating" a pattern is bad, you can just laugh all the way to the podium.
The other tip is to play more stamina draining files. Don't overdo it, but play a file like Pants or one of the easier but still draining files on Dossar Engine once in a while and it will really add up. There's a wealth of long, dumpy, stamina-raping files for SM too, just look at oh any Dragonforce simfile ever (when I was your skill level I played linus My Spirit Will Go On file to death, I could barely read it but I didn't care, I always just kept pushing for lower and lower CBs... I think it paid off, plus I had a lot of fun!)

Thanks for the advice hi19! I really appreciate the it. ^_^ I'll try jumptrilling and see how that works for me and I'll go check out some SM files too (although I suck at SM, lol)


p.s. not gonna chime in with the "gtfo D2 crap" because what I see is someone who was pretty clearly a D2 player at the start, but is playing a lot, working on their weak points, and improving. No shame in that

This took me like 8 tries to finally get passable PA on this.
Not a stamina issue at all (had no problem even after 8 consecutive plays) I just can't PA anything reliably. I also can't combo that reversing roll without mashing the transition part.

Lolo is ridiculously short, so I personally don't think it holds much weight for divisional placement. Gunkienen Tar Mercury is a FGO, but it has relatively simple patterns, and the score is still in the 20s.

(Reality could work as a D5 call if it wasn't his own chart, lmao.)

When playing this (and AAA'ing this, holy shit never thought I'd be saying that about an FMO) on the weird jump roll/trill crap, it never really felt like I was hitting it right, but I was. I kind of bent my fingers a little more and leaned foward a little on those parts, kinda helped with accuracy and for some reason helped me maintain a little stamina.

I want to see that as your next FMO AAA, dammit!
