I used to be like that too (and probably still am to a certain extent).

Mercilessness is one of those files where your hands have to be completely warmed up to play. I can't ****ing pass the file if I haven't played FFR for like 2 hours before trying it. I am exactly the same way, but to a worse extent.

My best example would be that it is a struggle for me to AAA the intro trills in Get Down because they start with 141414, then go 131313, and finally end on 12121212. I can't transition from performing basically a jack with my left middle finger to doing a one handed trill at that speed and maintain PA consistently.

And then there are certain jumpchains that are problematic as well, like the ones in R176 or PLANETZ where I just really have to be focused and mentally and physically prepared for certain patterns in order to PA through them. [12]2[12]1[12] patterns at faster speeds ruin me.

I don't think I'll ever get an FMO or FGO AAA no matter how long I play just because there seem to be certain handicaps I have that I just can't overcome.

I would venture we're more equal slightly favoring you still. Healing-D-Vision is one of those odd charts I love to play because it's 12ths and 24ths because I find them fun and usually really easy (**** you Black Key Etude...)

The only part of Healing-D-Vision that prevents me from AAAing is the odd ass section with like 13 2 13 13 sort of stuff. I tend to accidentally split a lot of those jumps.
