Try opening the Velocity engine in a Flash 8 or 9 standalone and using it like that. See here: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/vbz/showthread.php?p=3315230. I'm not exactly sure why, but it lags far less than when you open it with the internet. Personally, I get huge amounts of lag when I play on the site, but almost none when I use the standalone.

I lost contact with my dad because he disconnected his cell, and he was the one who was going to send out my keyboard. Kayla got a keyboard for us to share (for her because her computer is being a derp and for me because I needed an FFR keyboard), so we ended up getting a fairly inexpensive Logitech K120. I'm already used to it, and it feels pretty good for an FFR keyboard. Slightly bulky but man, my keytaps sound awesome.

TC_Halogen = too pro.

Not pro enough. Still have a few scores that I am disappointed about and need to fix, but that will come in due time.

I've also yet to try this keyboard with Stepmania; I'm a little curious to see how I would MA on it, but that will be for another day.

I honestly wasn't aware of how well I did on the harder bursts. When I went to see the replay and look at where I got my goods, I was less upset at myself and more shocked at the fact that I'm still capable of moving that fast even though I haven't really been playing too much. A little bit of effort and I can AAA this, that is once my muscle memory gets rid of the blocks that I have (that first 32nd jump burst makes NO sense to me, haha).

It's happened three times now; I'm used to it. I'll get it eventually. :lol:

I think my next AAA target is going to be Red Wings Over Bacon -- there's nothing terribly hard about the file and with a song that only pushes out a 24th solo at 270-280ish 16ths, I should have no issue getting the AAA. I can do the jump + trill splits at the end no problem now, and I'm fairly consistent. We'll see.

I also need to find my camera; I'm planning on re-AAAing all of the 11s and 12s that I have on video so that I can upload them to youtube. Should be fun. :)

It's rough to AAA Mephisto if you're a person who gets massive nerves; the last 150 notes of that song are an absolute nightmare. Mega-roll into a some 12th note mini-jacks, into some jump-jacks, into a NIGHTMARE of a mini-jack run...yeah. It's gross.

Of course it frustrates the person who does it, but it's funny for others to watch and laugh at.

For example:
You're SHIT at JumpStreams.
You play Seven and get a score of 30 0 0 0
You go play other harder JS songs such as {Frozen} Silence and some other shit. (The scores are irrelevant but assume they're all slightly worse and get just slightly better after about 5 plays of each.)
You return to Seven and on your first play you get 9 clean.
You play it again and then get 7 clean.

Yeah, Zierg, that really helped me out. Marisa is actually a pretty fun file once you get past the rage-inducing video. I really should lower my speedmod for it, because half the time I can't see what I'm doing in the transitions in the first 300 and whiff, and the other half I fuc up in the bursts later on, particularly around 1000.
