Skill tokens you get through songs yah, but the normal tokens are just on pages of the website.
For example, there's a token (a little golden circle) under the FFR game.
If you go click on the FFR game button to launch the game, scroll down the page, and in the middle you'll find a token :)

Tokens? They're around the website, some require much more thinking to get than others. Oh and you know, i when i started, which was like a month ago or something, i saw all the songs flying by.
It really is just about getting used to it, i suggest you stick to the "for beginners" for a while, then go on to easy, standard etc, it'll work ^_^
