Play less FFR and more Stepmania to develop MA. Start with easy files and get accustomed to when to hit arrows. As a personal tip, listen to your keytaps and make sure they sync with the song itself (keyboard delay vs song). Regardless of Singles or Solo, MA transfers between the two so playing either will help develop MA.
