yo czarkou ma doesnt affect dp only pa does

for example 0/1000/1/0/0/0 is still aa

0/0/1000/0/0/0 is like a c or smth tho i dont know the exact percentages

i think this is because dp scoring dates back to the beginning of ddr. letter grades were calculated with perfects being the highest timing judgment. marvelouses were optional and when added wouldnt change the grading system. players could now get AAAAs in addition to AAAs but they are both 100% dp.

also if u are going for aa try to get as little misses as possible because you get penalized way more for misses than greats and other cbs. the reasoning behind this i think was remember this scoring system was made for dance pad. hitting a note late/early is much different than not hitting it at all. takes more effort to stomp on a note than tap it with a finger.

also i dont think goods affect lifebar but im not positive. i remember laggy had disgusting good attack.

all this reasoning shows that migs is more appropriate for determining wrs than dp. ma has no effect on dp.
