Re: Light Chancellors Pack 3 -The Finale- (Released)

umbrella ultimatum - dunno where you came from but nice stuff man; this actually reminds me a lot of Sin (DCP) but..u know...better

ax and shield - only played heavy so far but man this breaks all the rules of stepping jumpstream haha. enough 'fuuck-you-up' moments to be infinitely scoring-replayable but i wasn't wild about it

theme song to cex - short and sweet. slight problem with these uber-mellow squelchy songs is i never feel the need to play them more then once but its a really neat file. nice use of MiNes

burning halloween town - kinda bland song, steps are alright though there's lots of awkward patches and it feels like way to much is trying to be squeezed into 4 keys so the song gets a lil lost

theme of bomber king - fricken great little chiptune file. mines/slightly-overlong freezes keep the pace super speedy even when its not hard and the ending is tops. its like...t0ra's death match, but fun

cansei de s nik - can't say this is stepped any different than your other files but i still think its your best one (probably the diversity of the song choice)

OMG I FEEL LIKE IM MAKING NO PROGRESS MAKE SMALLER PACKS
      squirrel--it's whats for dinner.

for some reason this comment made me feel extremely warm and giddly inside

even if I'm not part of this group (I'm not expecting to be), this is very sweet

Re: Light Chancellors Pack 3 -The Finale- (Released)

Played the harder chart for every file

              A Castle Under Siege
Something that I liked : the mines at the end for the outro-echo. I don't found this really fun and my arms were a bit in pain, I had a hard time playing it too. Try again 6/10

              A Shadow in the Sky
Playing this was a really diffuse experience. The measure where background sounds are synced felt like hitting nothing but the more dynamic parts felt GOOD to play. 7.5/10

              Aha!
Are you serious ? All along, I felt like the file made fun of me. It's barely synced and these freeze notes are annoying to hit, definitely NO. 2/10

              ALL MY TURN
Here comes our typical Roar dump. I don't have anything to say 8/10 because FUN

              Autumns Insomnia Session
PERFECT EMULATION OF THE SONG FEELING. PLAYING THIS FELT SO ****ING NATURAL I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THE FILE WAS HARD. 9/10 (because that slow part in the middle was boring)

              Ax and Shield
              *48th wall at the beginning*
You got to be kidding me.
              -
              *play again*
I have a few objections to express but overall it was good and the difficulty was an enormous plus 7.5/10

              Burning Halloween Town
What ? I don't remember having made easier charts for this ? I guess they are for pad ?

              Cansei de S NIK
Hey it was nice for a semi-dump file 7.5/10 Also nice retake of the Gotta Maze 2 jacket.

Longass title - Bridge of the lotus
Lots of good ideas. Not really fun, though 6.5/10

              Car Sax
Typical moche file that makes me go "WHY DID HE DO THAT **** IT I'M STEPPING IT MYSELF". moches/10

              Chrometaphor
Well that's a really repetitive file we have there. You should have stepped the parts in a different way everytime they come back because the file gets boring because of that 5/10 too bad otherwise, it would have been real cool

              Confidence in the DOMINATION
Short. Intense. Kinda replayable. First file that comes from you that isn't a hit or a miss to me 6.5/10

              Dark Cave
HOLY SHIT I DIDN'T PLAYED EVEN HALF OF THE BACK BUT I CAN STATE THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST FILE 10/10 A++ WILL PLAY AGAIN

              Demistify Feast
Cool GFX. The file was perfect. 10/10

              Digital Love
Rogdor, it looks like you're on your way to awesome files. 9/10 The replay value is amazingly high

              donations please
I liked it very much. Mostly because the song is DOPE and the steps fits it well 8/10

              El Dorado
              Average 7/10

              Epsilon-Delta
Yay for originality ! but the song ran on my nerves at a certain point 7.5/10

              Ergosphere
Hey I like this version too. Had high expectations from this, wasn't disappointed 7.5/10

              Ferris Wheel
This song is better to listen than to play I quit because of boringness 4/10

              Finders Keepers
I played many simfiles (solo AND standard) based on this music but I have to say this one is the best of all GJ job 8/10

              Flaxen Necklace
How do you find it for an orchestral simfile ? I got the song thanks to one of my friend and the minijacks are fun, or I thought so.

              futuristic imagination
I'll allow myself to skip it. This file is a hundred times better to play in solo mode. X/10

              galaxyforestwhatever
              lol 7/10 fun

              Hatsune Miku no Tomadoi
That was really enjoyable, expect for some hard-to-read parts 6.5/10

              HERO
I don't think I got bored one second, even on the slow part. Only this deserves an ovation 9/10

              HEXAD
FEEL THE NOTES. It's like we're on an excellence rush. 8.5/10

              I love (Orange things)
I'm expecting something good from wc
              *play file*
Had my expected almost rights, it was a bit below but the file had a fine quality 7/10

              Ievan Polkka
              Yeah... whatever... 6/10

              Kurokami Midareshi Shura to Narite
Don > HST 8.5/10 Even though both were pretty good

              Last Burning
And that's how Baq died 7/10

              Lord of Dance
              Sweet 7/10

              Love is Orange
Eh not bad but a bit blech 6.5/10

              Macuilxochitl
I really don't have any opinion on your file. It's not trash neither super fun. Kind of between the two, playing it on a better day would help it I guess 5.5/10

              MARIA&JOKER
Sargon, you know, I love your files. These hands, these color notes, they were magically placed 10/10

              Mathsma Attack
You know what ? The file was too long for what it was imo, I didn't really sticked to it 6.5/10

              Miles
I was seriously disappointed by Malice's simfile and this one follows perfectly the feeling of the song, Kil's influence, too ? 9.5/10

              Never Fade Away
Hell yeah you're on a "scylaax taste" roll dude 9/10 very dynamic

              Nova Man
              Not really entertaining 5/10

              PDM
Damn. I can't play this. All that pinks is looking at me with an unwholesome glare D: X/10

              Prime Song
              Way better 8/10

              Radiant
Really, really average. Nothing that really brights in this file, and I can't have fun on it 5.5/10

              Radiant Radiant Symphony
              Same as above samenote/10

              Rainbow Tylenol
Y'know, I never really enjoyed your files, just go back stepping metal and stop using Renard songs, thanks

              Rebirth the Edge
Lynn, you just ate out Don's version by a clear advance. Congrats 8.5/10

              Rival
THAT MOVIE BEHIND THE ARROWS. IT KEEPS DISTRACTING ME. ****. 7.5/10

              Scarlet Rose
I don't know. It's just between the "good" and "medium" files to me, so here's a grade that fits it 6.75/20

              Scott Pilgrim's Theme
Stop stepping Anamanagchi guys, their songs aren't even fun to play. Oh and the song quality is shit anyway 3/10

              Serpent
Waaay better than any of your files I played before 6/10

              Snow Fox
Kinda different from what I do usually, hope you will like it.

              Stage 1-1
... definetely not good for what I usually played from you 4.5/10

              Suimen
              Clearly not your best 6/10

              Summer Vacation
At the beginning I was "meh" but it turned out to be better than what I expected 7/10

              Sweet Dream
The banner has ****ing comic sans in it AND YET THE FINAL RESULT ISNT THAT BAD ! About the file ? It's ok for the kind of song you used 6/10

              T&J
FUN FUN FUN FUN but kinda hard 7/10

              The Rapids
Definetely my fave from you 10/10

              Theme of Bomber King
              Short and nice. Yeah. 7.5/10

              Theme Song to Cex
And improved version of Chrometaphor with more variations 8/10

              Umbral Ultimatum
I liked it very much. 7.5/10

              Vanished Truth
              Amazing scoring file 8.5/10

              Voyage to the Oustide World
Less fun than HERO but kinda entertaining nonetheless 7/10

              Walk on Water
Easily one of my best files out there, thanks to the song to be so steppable.

              World's Most Wanted Weiner
              wat
              6/10

              Firepower
I played beginner, and you know what ? This is one of the best dump in term of replayability and quality I could play till now. The jacks weren't even annoying and it's the first time I can have a friendly relation with long-ass jacks like that. Really good for what it is 9/10

Overall : Better than FFCP3. I'm kinda sad this has to be the last LCP release, but this was an awesome finale.
              -> 17/20

Sargon stepped them. Like I mentioned in the first post and during pack assembly, there are some 4key beginner keyboard charts.

Re: Light Chancellors Pack 3 -The Finale- (Released)

If there are two charts in the file, I will state which one(s) I play. If for some reason the stepartist would like me to play one I skipped over, let me know.

PS rating of 7 from me is really good and 7.5 basically means there's almost nothing wrong with your chart. Scores higher than that simply mean you went above and beyond.

also, I notice a lot of DJMAX songs, which means I might judge more harshly on those. I'll try not to, but I will probably end up doing so

A Castle Under Siege (Detrimentalist) [1 chart] - Classic Detrimentalist style. Tricky, but simple and solid. 6.5/10

A Shadow in the Blue Sky (HST) [1 chart] - Fresh new approach, but some parts were slightly odd and I disliked how the violin solo was followed with doubles. 5.5/10

Aha! (Vospi) [1 chart] - Unique concepts, and a style similar to mine with the exception of the hold note abuse. Normally I hate long holds while other stuff is going on, but it sorta works on this one. 6.5/10

ALL MY TURN (Roar) [1 chart] - I had extremely low expectations, but this turned out to be bearable. It's not bad, but it's just not as in-depth or intricate as a lot of other charts. 4.5/10

Autumn Insomnia Session (Rog) [2 charts] - Played the harder one. Had low expectations but this was pretty darn fun. Very intense climax and I'm a sucker for climax theory. 7.5/10

                      Ax and Shield (leonid & Gundam-Dude) [2 charts] - GD's chart: It was okay I guess. 5.5/10

Burning Halloween Town (Scylaax) [3 charts] - Played Hard. Solid, decent. 5.5/10

Cansei de S NIK (Roar) [1 chart] - Whoa. I was actually pretty surprised by the flow here. 6/10

Capital City of Flowers in the Sky ~ Bridge of the Lotus (Ophi) [1 chart] - Classic ophi stuff but everything flowed and structure was very nice. I liked this. 6.5/10

Car Sax (moches) [1 chart] - Incredibly smooth throughout the entire song. 7.5/10

Chrometaphor (leonid) [1 chart] - OH MY GOD SOMEONE ACTUALLY STEPPED A GRIDLOCK SONG HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP mines are simply amazing and the concepts were superb 8/10

Confidence in the DOMINATION (Puppet) [1 chart] - The negative BPM tricks make it almost unplayable and unfair. Otherwise, jack theory is kinda cool I suppose. 6/10

Dark Cave (moches) [1 chart] - Interesting. Not sure how, but these patterns kind of work. 6/10

Demystify Feast -Speedy Devil- (Kommisar) [3 charts] - Wonderful. Solid jack theory and overall awesome work. 7.5/10

Digital Love (Rog) [2 charts] - Short and fun I suppose. Color solos lol 6.5/10

Donations Please -nonstop NEW RICH shrine mix- (Gundam-Dude) [2 charts] - Not my cup of tea, but it's well done I suppose. 6.5/10

El Dorado (TranceCore) [2 charts] - I feel like some sections could have been improved significantly. Overall it's still pretty good, but I think there's more potential. 5.5/10

Epsilon-Delta (melonid) [1 chart] - I can't put a number on this one. It's very old-school but is a has cool tricks in it as well as some very unappetizing patterns, so I'll just leave this one where it is. NA/10

Ergosphere (Jimerax) [1 chart] - Sigh, I knew it was JX as soon as I hit the hi-hat section, which was so unbearable I actually quit out. I personally think kn33grow's beats this one in almost every way 2/10

Ferris Wheel (Don) [1 chart] - Don you rule as always. Awesome pattern choices and a great flow. I thought this was almost perfect, but a few section held me back from a higher score. 7.5/10

Finders Keepers (Rebound) [1 chart] - Flows very nicely and follows the themes well. 7/10

Firepower (Rog) [2 charts] - Close to being really really good. Some of the rhythms result in some awkward patterns, but I guess this was a particularly difficult approach anyways. 6.5/10

Flaxen Necklace (Scylaax) [1 chart] - Quite cool. It's a very chord-heavy approach but I don't see a better way to do it. 7/10

Futuristic Imagination (Gundam-Dude) [4 charts] - Smooth. Patterns were perfect. 7.5/10

Galaxy Forest 11.6&12 (TranceCore) [3 charts] - There was one tiny pattern in the chart that pissed me off. Other than that this was fun as hell. 7.5/10

Hatsune Miku no Tomadoi (Kommisar vs. Kory) [1 chart] - I don't really have an opinion for this. NA/10

                      Hero (Kommisar & Gundam-Dude) [3 charts] - Hard: Just plain awesome. 8/10

HEXAD (Sargon) [3 charts] - Played Hard. Goddamnit. The chart started out beautifully and I loved it. starting from the long freeze section (which was okay) it just started to go downhill 4.5/10

I Love (Orange Things) (who_care973) [1 chart + 1 Solo chart] - Solo obviously. Fun stuff, lots of variation and whatnot. 7.5/10

Ievan Polkka (Rin&Len Ver.) (Jimerax) [3 charts] - Not bad. The most fun part is definitely the 48th flourishes. 6/10

Kurokami Midareshi Shura to Narite (Don) [1 chart]
Kurokami Midareshi Shura to Narite (HST) [1 chart]

Last Burning (who_cares973) [3 charts] - While I do like some of the gimmicks here, unfortunately I've played better chart for this as a whole. 4/10

Lord of the Dance (who_cares973) [1 chart]
Love is Orange (Don) [1 chart]
                      Macuilxochitl (leonid) [1 chart]
                      MARIA&JOKER (Sargon) [5 charts]
                      Mathsma Attack (Kommisar) [1 chart]

Miles (Puppet) [1 chart] - Decent chart. Some of the stuff fluctuates a bit too much for my liking but overall it's pretty nice, got some fun concepts. 6.5/10

Never Fade Away (moches) [1 chart]
Nova Man's Stage (Kommisar) [1 chart]
                      PDM (Wineandbread) [2 charts]
                      Prime Song (Wineandbread) [2 charts]

Radiant Radiant Symphony (Ophi) [2 charts]
                      Rainbow Tylenol (Baq12) [1 chart]
Rebirth the Edge (Lynn) [1 chart]
                      Rival (leonid) [1 chart]
                      Scarlet Rose (Rebound) [1 chart]

Scott Pilgrim's Theme (leonid) [2 charts] - Terrible. Boring. Reminds me of Steel World. 2/10

                      Serpent (Vospi) [1 chart]
                      Snow Fox (Scylaax) [1 chart]
                      Stage 1-1 (Ferrari) [1 chart]

                      Summer Vacation (Kommisar) [1 chart]
                      Sweet Dream (Sargon & Gundam-Dude) [4 charts]
                      T&J (TranceCore & leonid) [1 chart]

Walk on Water (Scylaax) [1 chart]

World's Most Wanted Weiner (who_cares973) [1 chart] - I've been looking for something like this in the whole darn pack. 8.5/10
