Army. I was in the Army for about 4 years. 3 years in the NG, 1 active duty but I was medically discharged for being a teenager (not literally but trust me, it makes sense).

Working in the civilian world is really making me regret being medically discharged.

Do lots and lots of running. Body weight exercises, etc.

You could do 5/3/1 or something if you wanted, that tends to spread out strength equally.

Paleo seems like just another fad, like keto.

At least it makes people happy I guess. Still think the best way to do shit is carb cycling.

110, doing (banded) squats with 275.

She's also Mrs. Natural Olympia, and pound for pound the strongest person at our gym.

I think I jumped up in weights on all my lifts too fast, I'm feeling super beat up. Kinda took a step back from the diet, just eating some shit and relaxing a little, trying to reboot.

I'd think backloading would be more fun than paleo, although I know a lot of fitness oriented people are doing paleo. (I.E. the people who are doing strength training, crossfit, etc)

A buddy of mine from the Animal group is going to be doing the Tom Platz Challenge at the Arnold this year.

                          Shooting for 500x25 on squats.

One day I hope I can do 1 rep with that much weight.

                            It's a pretty delicious diet

For me, I don't see the point of removing entire food groups, but I don't really have an issue with people using diets like these as a tool to help them lose weight. Paleo and Keto diets keep people feeling fuller than traditional caloric restriction because people typically fill up on too many carbs, so if it works for you, go for it.

                              ^^

If I could master backloading (i.e. not eat so goddamn much that I get fat), I'd be interested in doing some powerlifting once I'm done competing this summer. Would be pretty cool.

Did shoulders today for the first time in almost 2 weeks, tricep felt fine so going to move on to other fun things.

My school and work schedule are too much for me to allow anything during the week. Looks like the weekend is the only time I'll have for exercise.
