Artist Blanket Permissions v5 - Page 8

Does anyone know the permission status for Mindless Self Indulgence? "Straight To Video" is a pretty old file on this site and I don't see MSI on the permissions list.

It might have been one that was initially a widget, or had a special condition (like Here We Go, before we had Renard's permission). That might be something to talk to Jimerax about.

That's the same thing that I had said about All Time Low. And I thought MSI has more than just Straight to Video, but I could be wrong.

There are a bunch of rock groups that aren't on the list but have songs in game, this really needs to be looked at.

It's more than likely that one or more of these bands had conditional permissions through a widget. Again, it's something that Jimerax could probably answer.

Whats the permission with As I Lay Dying? Is it similar to MSI's deal?

Edit: Oh and Empyreon, do we only have permission for that little 4 song cd they had, the one Flying High and Eternal Nightmare came off of?

Mindless self indulgence like with every widget artist is a limited permission and the only songs available to step have been stepped for widgets- tass forever ago

We have permission for Voice of the Lifestream (FFVII album) from OCR, but that's the only one I know of.

As I Lay Dying - no detail, limitting permission for only "Comfort Betrays", for now.

Empyreon - I'm not sure but it seems we have permission for at least one album. might ask ElectricWerewolf about details.

Instead of permission hunting, there needs to be user rewards for stepping songs by artists with no songs in the game. (And getting them accepted)

we have like 100 permissions that have not been touched...

Yeah, of course the person who got permission from the artist is responsible for stepping his/her song(s), or getting someone who can step his/her song(s).

I would step, but I am deterred for two reasons.
1. I'm in university at the moment and school works takes all priority.
2. The last time I submitted a file into 2 batches I had them both rejected. :P

I would step too, if I find out how to. But I am at a University as well, and school is the utmost importance to me as well.

Plus i assume that all files I send would be denied anyways.
