these are the questions you ask yourself, in order:

"who is the jungler?"
"what are the gank paths?"
"ok, i will ward those paths."

"who is mid lane?"
"does it look like our mid lane is winning?"
"I don't think so, better ward where s/he might go."

"does top have tp?"
"did top rotate mid to contest dragon?"
"better ward somewhere near dragon but i should be careful."

once you're out of laning phase:

"where do we want to fight?"
"what objectives do we want to contest?"
"i better ward around those areas."

"are we winning?"
"i should probably ward deeper into their jungle."

"are we losing?"
"i should probably ward closer to our jungle, carefully."

if it's, "i don't really know what i'm doing, i'm just rotating to a lane to farm"
"I should probably put a ward down where i THINK they might come from. i also shouldn't over extend if i have no escape or if my flash is down."

never play ranked at 4am. people intentionally feed every other game. I'm on a 4 game losing streak 2 of them had players that from the start just ran and died over and over until 20 minutes... I don't understand this game

his pre 6 game is atrocious now, there's no way he won't get outpoked by lucian/cait

Well, if what you mean is items that I get in order, I go for shiv/PD+zerk greaves, with my usual damage items being BF sword (If I did well enough), Vamp Scepter, or another dorans' blade. I then go for damage items, first being BT then either Infinity, BoRK, or LW depending on who I am focusing and facing against.

Any defense items comes last, and that's usually a GA

AS should be the last thing you get, no wonder your dominating lead fell short: they caught up because you couldn't close out the game early

you should be seiging the towers fast as you can to close it out when you have a lead, also you don't even have a GA.



until you get higher stats late game to where your damage is actually respectable, you do not want to build AS, otherwise you're a pea shooter. a really fast pea shooter.

BT/IE into greaves, zeal, LW, finish zeal into PD/SS, defensive item/IE*

always aim to back with BF, if not, vamp scepter is fine, but try not to die/back agian before bt.

if you're really far behind or don't feel like you can adequately stack BT, you can go IE build path and pick up a pickaxe/vamp if you're not too confident.

if you decide on the BT build you can also choose the 6 AS marks, 3 AD marks, 3AD quints build to dominate your lane, because that early 10% AS really helps in terms of last hititng and harassing in lane, and you'll be coming back with a vamp for sustain. plus, you don't have to complete PD/SS, you can stick with the zeal and go into LW for a shitload of dmg.

otherwise, stick with the regular 9AD marks, 2LS quints. the aforementioned rune page is good for vayne too, if ur a shit vayne player looking to get better
