hmm guys, on green twilight, just near the beginning there is a part (screenshot) which, as a one hander, always messes me up, any tips on this particular part? i actually got past it once and fc'd the rest of the song but i missed the first 4 notes so it didnt count as an fc gah...so any hints?

A pattern like that is something you can easily practice whenever you're sitting idly or something in everyday life. Becomes instinct with a little bit of repetition. Try that.

I've got a bunch of random 8s, 9s, and 10s that are easy to FC but I haven't out of laziness - I'll possibly try and get some of those later on.

Those are actually very one-handed friendly with a little practice. Like red said, just do that motion with your fingers when you're not on the game, and you'll find that it gets much easier. I did that trick when I was moving here and drove by car (I was doing a 2-14 pattern repeatedly).
