I'm still thinking at what went wrong in the previous game and what I should do about it this game knowing I'm likely to be stuck in the same situation.

I see Yoga, Funk, Haikus.

Not quite sure how to go about it just yet.

I mean, this is not OOTC, so the circumstances will be different in that way at least. With that in mind, I am not sure what situation you are exactly meaning.

Personally, I am really not a fan of the poetry here. It is obfuscating, the way people normally talk and flow in conversation I think, to be mostly bullshit for the sake of it. Which I could appreciate more if I found it funnier. (I feel like this may sound more aggressive than how I am really meaning it).

I've been told to lynch players in a certain order based on a mass claim and if I simply followed the order; town would have won pretty convincingly.

The problem lies on reaching out to others in the right way.

I didn't actually stand for myself when I had more than enough on my plate to push the game at the right place.

I said what I had in mind overall, but it's like it didn't really reach out because of how it was said.

It felt like it was too easy to be true and I eventually started second guessing myself over technical stuff that was outside of my control that didn't really matter. e.g: (does role color matter, is Xel a bastard role in a non bastard game, etc.)

The point is that lynches got wasted over stupid stuff and then wolves won despite having all the info to technically win after the first phase.

I feel like I still need a backup buddy to end the game for me after sitting down and sharing the information.

Mix that with being absent at eods due to work and struggling in voice chat to think at a meaningful way to rally others over logical stuff and I've got quite the problem.

Anyway, gotta reset for this game.

Well, what do you personally get from the last page?

certain people like registering that they have a pulse, if nothing else

i kinda didn't expect dai to just be like "yeah", like hi dude

not too much else to it though. ffa and i had shades of a serious conversation that no one else really cared about and i don't know if it's just because no one's dug in yet

Well I hope talking through it is helping you to do that. It seems to me that this game, not being a mystery game, should have less complicated and stressful elements, and it obviously has a more streamlined way to communicate with others. Wondering if you are overthinking things is the piece that may well be a struggle. But just because it was as easy as it seemed last time, does not mean it will be this time. So I would suggest not trying too hard to stifle that part of yourself, because you can overcorrect. But that is just my opinion.
