no because say a guy AAA's every song in this tourny for the 1st place spot, someone else gets all AAA's and one booflag, he'd get second. say the next person gets all AAA's and 2 boos on a song. he'd get 3rd etc etc cleanest overall=higher placement. Unless I'm wrong...

Yeah, you got it right Onix.
I added a thing to the first post right where I said how you'll be scored to explain it better. This is no different than adding up all the total scores, I'm just showing the goods and stuff because it's a more in depth way at looking at a score yaknow.

awein brings up an excellent point. Shouldn't the total number of points received from all the songs be added up and compared to total possible amoutn of points received? That would allow you to accurately judge people's scores in terms of combo scoring. For example, in a 1000 note song, if someone gets 999 perfects and misses the last note, that person would score higher than so and so who scored 999 perfects but got a cb at say 500 combo mark? They both have identical scores, but the firstperson would have the higher rank/score. So scoring should be done by adding up totals rather than just adding up goods boos etc.
