If vigi shot charu wouldn't that mean that the wolves roleblocked themselves? Cuz idk if the wolves have the option to not do a nightkill. Why would they roleblock themselves?

Cuz the other option is that both wolves AND vigi may have gotten Charu but that seems a lil overkill if that's how that turned out.

OK so having read through the roles again, there's a jailkeeper in this one right? It's in the list but I don't know if it's actually in the game. So like jailkeeper's another RB so it could have been WW or JK roleblock last night.

Is it a good idea to have whoever was jailed say if they were jailed or not? Cuz up until what Lar and Dusk said I figured a no-shoot was good because then there wouldn't be two towns dead if wrong so I can't really trust my judgment rn.

Also the line of thinking of: vig idle because shooting town is bad isn't correct play, it in town's favour to shoot a town player who is in the poe because it frees up lynches and makes us more likely to hit mafia next time with our extra lynch. If someone is gonna get lynched regardless, regardless of their alignment it is pro-town to shoot them

i think everyone is also thinking too highly of the vigi. remember, people are people and will do things you dont expect them to. not everyone here is going to make the same choices and not everyone is going to be the most optimal player. Think of all the dumb, and weird night kills wolves have made. vigis are going to make much more weird and odd choices since they dont have a team to converse with about what makes a good kill. I dont think charu is as unlikely a vigi kill as all you think he is.

Vig shouldn't be played as a selfish role, there is nearly always a correct kill, if not a small choice to pick from. Hero vigging is just a bad idea in general, relying on a lot of luck

i also want to point out that i dont think we really play with enough vigis to have a good "vigi meta" or anything. and moreso i dont think we play enough games for people to learn to vigi and its not something usually openly talked about in thread.
