I got stomped by a team without an adc. Was panth - kha bot. We wrecked 'em early game but fell off hard late.

Usually its the other way around =P. Adc only really matters endgame (midgame if you manage to get fat early)

Well it was our fault, their team had such a strong all in (Akali / Kha / J4 / Panth / Someone else)

And the downside was we lacked on peels.... so it was a matter of surviving till they can just easily one shot.
