if i learned anything from physics and/or chemistry it's that qualitative measures are poor for evaluation due to lack of precision and consistency
so unless you're measuring my friction or temperature with some kind of tool then you're a poor physicist and/or chemistryist

I know you're half-joking but qualitative measures are extremely useful in the social sciences

which is a better analogy to TWG than the natural sciences

wanting to claim credit for something requires me to actually be right about it, and i'm already not the type of person to wave my dick in people's faces about how right i was when i have been

also you're not actually contending the points being made or considering that the data i'm trying to use in a lot of those circumstances is only weakly definitive, so i'm having a hard time caring
