Also I didn't base any ratings off of step artists - otherwise I would've made exceptions to the 1/10s

i think the only pack that he's liked truly was rebound's dump pack, because all of the files were dumps

while I agree that some files kinda drag on (the beginning of autumn insomnia), some of the files that you mentioned don't drag on at all, really

Torrent's actually right, files that I actually *do* find replay value from are way more abstract and aren't focused as much on color notes to vocals/solos/etc

I made a file for The Bird's Concrete Nosedive for FFR as an example, it wasn't really received well (although it did get a ++) even though I find it my funnest FFR submission by far. That track has ridiculously unorthodox rhythms that make it very memorable imo

This is my challenge to you. Take any of the songs you rated 1/10 and recreate a file a for it. A file that fits your expressivemanian criteria almost perfectly.

I've listened to T11 albums like Don Maximo Postmod Premax, illegal nervous habits, additions to arsenal, and speed modified - and I can safely say I don't like most of the tracks. However there are a select few that really stand out, and that happened to be one. Same thing with Metro and his "bird" ones.

I could, and then everyone would bombard it with 1/10s since I go by a completely different stepping style.

Like I said, more abstract and memorable, I didn't really find that in these files. Abstract can include "overstepped" for example, when a song does have that energy but turns out to be really slow when you step it technically.

If you want I can make one, but just an fyi I don't really think I've had much stepping credibility since I don't make these types of files anyways. It's just my honest reviews.

I found Finders Keepers and that Virt file I gave the highest rating the funnest in the pack and those aren't even hard

Pattern choice also plays a big role in my ratings.
