This thread was made before they stated blatantly in the rules that DS is a bannable offense, and now they are telling us not to DS for vRofl either. The DSing that took place earlier in the thread was ok'd by Sprite-, at the time of the making of this thread.

Well considering the nature of this challenge, Sprite- probably figured who the heck cares, if they are going to mash mindlessly for 20hrs, let them do what they want. This whole method is outrageous, so the thought of DSing it wasn't like absolutely horrible.

It's like: Oh yeah let's give them another way to earn vRofl so they can get it easier. Then; Oh it's still too hard ? Let's let them DS it. And some qpeople even want to put a song ingame that will be made to whore points. Wtf... The challenge is insane, I agree. You don't want to do it because it's too hard ? Don't do it. Simple...

vrofl isnt special if you earn it through DS. That's why I say it shouldn't be allowed. It's possible to get 1b without DS and if your not willing to put up with it then fricken go for the 50b option.

I'm for the option of DS'ing for vROFL, and apparently I'm alone in this.

Using two keyboards is more a pain to try and do than a convenience, and it's just mindless mashing so I don't see why everyone is so against it, unless they don't own a second keyboard to DS with and are just jelly of people who can.

I'm for the option of DS'ing for vROFL, and apparently I'm alone in this.

RATO/OMGWTFTOKEN DS'd = SO LESS effort than with one keyboard, and they give alot of points. I say you try 1 hour on each setup (DS and 1KB) of nonstop mashing, after that confirm what you just said. And Yes I know what DS feels like. Jealous ? omfg... more like: People who HAVE 2 keyboards just can't stand the fact that they can't use it.

I have actually done both. When I was trying to FC vROFL on LD's engine when the site was down. And yes, it's less effort, but still takes a certain amount of "skill". It's just a different kind of skill. You can easily boo by accident on songs like RATO or Gigadelic, and for a song like Giga it still takes a bit of skill (quite a bit more than RATO) to get an FC using DS. It just spares your body some hardcore damage that can come from mashing your keys for the length of time required to get 1bil points. You're still constrained to your computer mashing your keyboard for more than half the day, and I find it funny how people want to encourage you to go through some serious pain that could possibly cause long term damage rather than simply let them use DS.

Well this is why the mindset of "vrofl is easy to get now" exists - it was NOT easy for anyone to get 1 billion points without double setup. WSCB DS'd (I don't have anything against this guy but he did do it) which made it a lot easier to get than if he tried doing single setup.

Want vrofl to be "hard" to get? THEN DON'T ALLOW DS. LOL.

You don't seem to understand a word of what I say. Let me clear some points:
-vRofl requires mashing all day, Yes.
-Many people find it insane, Yes.
-May cause damage, Yes.
-DS is easier, YES. <=

THESE ARE THE POINTS THIS FUCCIN TOKEN IS ABOUT OMFG ._.
Stop complaining about how hard it is and how bad you want to use DS and GET OVER IT if you find it too hard. Get to 50Bil. Seriously the facts you guys say are just pissing me off just because they just confirm that DS would make it easier but you had some excuses. Now please just skip that token if you don't like the requirements. x.x

I'm not trying to argue in favor of DS for me to get the token. I understand why people would want to not allow DS to unlock it, but at the same time I don't see much point to it. Someone either has the time, patience, and ability to unlock it... or they don't. Personally, it's a time thing for me. I *never* have a full 24 hours to myself where I can be smashing my keyboard all day long.

But if I did, I would use DS, and just not say a word to anyone~

All you're going to accomplish by saying "BAN DS! DS IS ILLEGAL! DONT ALLOW IT~" or whatever else is just going to make people hide it, and hope they don't get banned. Like I would be doing if I ever had the opportunity to try for vROFL. That, or I would use a hotkey program and map all 4 arrow keys to a single key on my keyboard and swap between using either of my hands to vibrate one key on RATO all day.

All I'm trying to get at, is if you ban one method of "cheating" some creative little bastards like myself will just invent new methods, that are probably worse than the original method of cheating that was originally banned.

With all this being said I'm sure I'll be watched like a hawk if I ever do get the chance to go for vROFL, but that's okay, because I doubt I will in the foreseeable future.

DS is bad when going for ranks, and I can honestly say I have never used 2 keyboards to achieve any of the scores in my level ranks, but I see no reason why it shouldn't be allowed when whoring for GTS, as long as any song you use it on doesn't earn you a better rank than the one you had before DS'ing it.

I understand the points you are trying to make, I just don't agree with them. I hope the rest of my post explains that, but I doubt I explained it in a way that doesn't sound like I'm trolling. I'm not trying to troll -.-

1 bill is NOT easy. It takes a huge amount of dedication, preparation, and determination. Not to mention pain tolerance eventually. No matter how many people get it, it will never be easier to get.

No DS to unlock Vrofl please. If it's against the rules to ds in ffr, it's definitely against the rules to DS all day to make getting bill easier. And it's disrespectful to those who get a bill legit.
