Nami is and always will be my favorite support. There's a reason why she's splash art on my stream. In solo Q she is Imo God tier due to her incredible kit. She can duo with ANY ad: after a bubble land... follow up stun (vayne) or follow up nuke/burst (sivir, Graves, varus, cait, ezreal). Any ad that benefits from an MS boost/slow (vayne, draven, ezreal) and for anyone that has low health/base Regen (vayne, ezreal) that cannot normally sustain in Lane.

With that said to win your Lane you need to be able to position yourself well, and know when or when not to bubble. Just like blitz or thresh, she's high in risk/reward. Thankfully because of the heal (which I max out), if you or your ad makes mistakes it's more forgiving.
I usually take armor red (maybe mpen) and a mix of mr/armor/and mp/5 blues/yellows with either armor, ap, or health Quints
