I won't be going to Thursday night pre-reg pickup, but my buddy that helped organize my group's reservations and everything will be picking them up for me.

Then probably dicking around in Toronto for the evening before going back to Hamilton. My hotel room I have booked is only for Friday/Saturday.

Can we expect heavy cosplaying Thursday? Because I feel like I could probably throw together a third costume at the last minute...

Mmm probably not Thursday, at least for cosplaying.
Since it's Friday-Sunday, but I haven't been in the area to confirm if people actually cosplay early.
I just doubt anybody would want to wear their cosplay out Thursday so they keep it 100% for the actual con.

im sure people will b meeting up thursday though, specially those who r flying in

1 week hype!

Alright guys, we have a slight situation. My friend (not from FFR) is coming to AN and will probably stay with the QC group at the Best Western Plus Toronto Airport Hotel (gee what a mouthful). Problem is, QC group with him adds up to 6 people, and we have 1 car with 5 spots. So we have 3 legit options (and a dozen non-legit options: hide him in the trunk, tie him to the roof, pretend he's a blanket, ...):

1. He convinces his mom to lend him his car (extremely unlikely if his mom doesn't get a major change of heart) chances down to 0%
2. He takes taxi/bus to and from AN (1 hour per drive compared to 10-15 minutes by car)
3. One of you kind souls with extra places in your car comes and picks one or more of us up from our hotel à la carpooling <3

Any takers? It'd be really really awesome of you if you did, I'll even like... Pay you a Quebec beer. Or a poutine. Or hugs? Come on guys I hug really good
