Re: World of Warcraft
My brother recently (3 days ago) bought me this game and 2 months of play time because I wasn't paying attention to him telling me that I need to get to 70 in 10 days if he does buy it and he doesn't even play with me for triple experience arg... level 28 and counting but damn it sucks being a warrior questing alone.

Re: World of Warcraft
Ummm...I was under the impression that when you quest with someone in a party, the amount of experience you net from taking down mobs was cut by what ever number of people there are in the party. I could be wrong though, but if there was a such thing as triple exp, I would have a lot more 70s by now.

Re: World of Warcraft
The refer-a-friend feature of WoW awards the referred friend and you, while in a group together, on the same quests together, triple experience up to level 60.
You also have the ability to summon one another to your location, and whenever the referred friend levels up, they can award a free full level to any character on your account that is a lower level than the referred friend. So basically, by refering someone and levelling with them, you get 1 level 60 for free, and another for basically 1/3 the work and effort. |

Re: World of Warcraft
yeah the triple xp works for quests and monsters so when I turn in a quest that is normally worth 3000 exp I get 9000 as long as the linked account is in a group with me and close enough otherwise it doesn't apply

Re: World of Warcraft
I have a Level 12 Human Paladin on Mok'Nathal because my friend Bryton from school, and I'm going to transfer my Level 26 Human Warrior Zz to that server because it'd be cool. He has 3 Level 70's that he's been screwing around with. I started....October 17th.

To be fair, your warrior is only 13 and they only become amazing closer to end game.

And personally I like Horde more than Alliance (Community wise or else I would have chosen Alliance), just find they take the game a little more seriously so you don't get as many 9 year olds running around and your mom jokes in Trade chat...except for when trade chat turns into Harry Potter and the <Link Epic Here> Last edited by fido123; 11-8-2008 at 10:30 AM.. |

On our server, it's "ANAL <Link Talent or Spellbook Ability Here> LOLOLOLOLOL".
So retarded.

Re: World of Warcraft
Yeah that gets old really fast.
If not 'ANAL <link>' then it's 'movie or song title with murloc subbed in for one of the words' |

Re: World of Warcraft
If you say the word "Murloc" in Trade on my server, you're asking for some serious ANAL spammage. There is actually an addon that helps prevent it, or prevents it from showing up on your chat. Haven't tried it out though.
I did Kara for the first time a few days ago. We downed Maiden and I can happily say I survived the fight with 38 health. Had to stop after that though because a bunch of people had to leave. Yesterday my guild organized a huge raid on Undercity. Was definitely a lot of fun. We managed to kill all of the auctioneers and two or three of the bankers. We don't normally do world PvP, but we figured it would be fun to get everyone together for an in-game event. After that I was invited to an Onyxia group. We downed her with 7 people after three tries.. |
