I think blind made a pretty bold play once he saw Ben state that he checked him and came up with nothing. I think that was an excellent play, and I commend you for doing it. However, at the end of NIGHT TWO, you completely blew up the plan and hinted towards the wolves that you were, in fact, the doctor.

wait, when did that happen? I didn't read closely but I don't remember blind hinting or claiming doctor in any fashion before the DFR kill had already gone through.

YEAHHH TOX 3RD TIME'S THE CHARM. I didn't do anything useful the only thing I did in the quicktopic was make a case to wolf Reuben. so tox was fighting against the town AND a bad coach in this game, A+++++

looked like a fun game for sure, and there are lessons to take away from this one. that's the point of jTWG after all!

This one was fun and DEFINITELY kept me on my toes. I felt like I played a solid vanilla, and nothing really changed on how people read me. I think people just read me neutral always and that's how it will go I suppose. Maybe I'll be able to read better next time and maybe JUST MAYBE live till the end? lol

Thanks tox for keeping me on my toes and proving that I'm wrong about everything again. You and choof played one hell of a game, I don't care what anyone else says.

I feel like it's always a hype when I post. It's like grandma's cookies: you only get to have them occasionally, but when you finally get to have them they are so MmmmmmmmMMmMMMmMmmMM good (^)> Anyway, here we go:

Day 0 is lulz like usual so I'm not even going to talk about that.

Night 1 I voted for blind. He was low-key at the time, being more quiet that usual. I noticed that he targeted choof. It was simple to find out blind was doctor: if he were wolf then choof would have died not windows and the only other town-aligned power role in the row/column that contains the tracker is the doctor.

I like how everyone is calling it "blind's plan" since I started it first, I'm fine with "our plan" Anyways, I wanted to come out as tracker for the following reasons:
-It would the town information on the setup
-I knew I could be protected by the doctor

However, if I were to come out as the tracker, then people would expect me to tell them the results from the night. I didn't want to claim that I targeted somebody else and claim that they did/didn't target someone because that would be risky as heck. At the same time, I didn't want to tell everyone that blind was the doctor because that would ruin the point (2) above. I realized that I could tell town that Blind didn't target anybody and did this knowing the following in mind:
-The wolves had a good chance of targeting me, taking the risk that there might be a doctor. I figured especially in the case that blanky flipped green, that this would be the case since the wolves would have enough "wiggle room" to make mistakes.
-I knew that if the people started becoming suspicious of blind, I could leap in and vouch for him.

Tricking the wolves into targeting me seemed like a really good idea but unfortunately I couldn't just plan this with blind. Fortunately I was able to make a few posts that accomplished the following:
-hinted to blind what I was trying to do
-fed the wolves misinformation so they'll want to target me the next night
-kept the rest of the town in line. I was afraid the town would outrage, saying, "Why'd you reveal yourself if you have so little information?!!?" I gave some wishy-washy reasoning why I would come out with so little information and the town seemed to buy that.

However, blind had later claimed bulletproof, something which I thought he might have done. I was really iffy about it. I personally wouldn't have done that in blind's shoes. I commend him for having the guts to make that bold of a move. When blind claimed bulletproof:
-Assuming that the wolves bought it, it would nearly guaranteed the wolves would go after me knowing there was no doctor to protect me.
-If blind was actually bulletproof, that would have been a stupid move on blind's part. Because of this, I was worried both town and wolves alike would be like, "blind can't possibly be that stupid. something's up," thus potentially crumbling the plan.
-However, since blind claimed bulletproof, then by the next day phase, if the plan went as planned, then the everyone would realize there is a doctor. There is no way blind could have justified why he fakeclaimed bulletproof without giving away his role as doctor. Thus, him claiming bulletproof means his doctor role would be revealed the next day (which wouldn't have happened in the case that blind kept quiet).
All in all though, I'm sure Blind balanced the pros and cons and figured that it was worth it to claim bulletproof.

For night 2, I was torn between voting for choof or voting for dfr. Manti, my coach, suggested that I go for dfr since he was less suspicious. I had a lot of reasons why I wanted to go with Choof originally but I should have thought about it more before going for DFR. Reasons why I wanted to vote choof:
-I thought that you guys would think there is no doctor, so if you kill the tracker it doesn't matter who sends in the kill since the tracker will die anyways.
-this post
-I felt like I was able to make choof think to some degree that I thought he was slightly green thus making him think that I wouldn't track someone who I thought was slightly green.
Although none of this matters since tox had ended up sending in the kill in the end Dx

Also, I had an entire thing saved away in notepad saved up for the second the day phase started. I knew I had to clear things up with blind the second that the day began. However, I was shocked to see the results. I didn't know exactly what to do at that point (should I still reveal blind? should I still keep it a secret from the wolves to use for our advantage in a later night? etc).

I was able to deduce later that tox was most likely a wolf. Here's two reasons:
1) There were three possibilities: choof/tox, choof/jteh, tox/jteh. At this point in the game, I feel that if choof and jteh were the wolf pair, they wouldn't vote for each other since it would only take 3 votes for an insta. Thus, that leaves the two possibilities: choof/tox and jteh/tox. In either case, tox is a wolf.
If you don't like that reasoning since it's still possible choof/jteh to be a wolf pair voting for each other consider:
2) Suppose tox was human. Tox voted after choof and jteh iirc. She would have no reason to suspect blind. If blind didn't have a power role, then that means choof or jteh has it and if they had it, they would have voted blind for obviously fakeclaiming. But choof and jteh had already voted and they clearly didn't vote for blind so a human would have no reason to vote for blind at that point, thus leading me to believe tox was wolf.

Unfortunately, time zones suck. I alternated between class/work from 9am-7pm today. I had a one hour break today but I blew it. I was still unsure of my own reasoning at the time and by the time I had my thoughts organized and figured out, I had to go back to class.

Then while I was in class...everything went down welp.

I apologize, I made the grave mistake of not being proactive and resolving the situation. I should have cleared blind sooner, but I didn't so our last vanilla townie was lost in the woods. Anyways, so that's a lesson learned: move to the continental united states so time zones aren't an issue and quit work/school to have more time to play twg to say what I want to say before taking my eyes off the thread for an extended period of time while anticipating what might happen during the time I'm gone. Another lesson is to assume nothing: I made the assumption that the wolves would attempt to kill me the 2nd night but they didn't and that left me in an unprepared state.

Anyways, a few shout-outs:
-blind: although our plan didn't go through, it was fun working with you nonetheless. You played along pretty well. oh btw, manti wants you to read something that he posted in my quicktopic...it's for you 0o0o0o00o0o0o0o0oo0o.

-choof: gg. For some reason, I had suspected you the entire time lol. You have the ability to seem souper town, being really active and giving believable reasoning, which is hard to do as a wolf. Good job.

-charu: thanks for being an awesome host. This game was really exciting for me and I don't mean that sarcastically. Also, CHARU I WANT AN ADORBS PIPLUP IMAGE I didn't get a chance to die and have you post one for me (v)>

-jteh: don't worry, it was your first game. Remember, every player is important, even the vanilla townies. So next time, even if you are vanilla townie, don't think "oh, nothing I do matters" because it does. Think carefully about what actions you want to take, it could change the entire outcome of the game.

-blanky: blanky, pls. pay attention to your posting style and how others are going to react to it.

-windows: sorry to see you gone from the game so early on :/

-cry: especially in the day0 phase, you want to at least be a little active since there isn't much else to base votes off of during day0.

-dfr: sorry, please forgive me, I don't want you to lose faith in meeeeeeee. And to think that I tracked you even. We need to work out these trust issues....
