I've noticed something from this thread that really disturbs/bothers me (not rlly) and I'm willing to announce it.


GROOVENIGHTS IS NOT THE ONLY THEME OUT THERE GAIZ. PLEASE... I WANT ONE PERSON FROM NOW ON POST ON THIS THREAD WITH A THEME OTHER THAN GROOVENIGHTS.

Although I have to admit, the theme does look sexy

Please use ITG: Mint Edition. It's the best theme in the ITG community currently.

It seems like GrooveNights is the most popular theme in the index community right now. You could also try Tactics theme or Industrial Theme... Basically any themes made by Jayce or Mad Matt are very popular.

Well I like groovenights because of the ratemods and speed mod availability. It also lists bpm, rate, etc. on the results screen.

EDIT: If you want to follow the pad (index as well) community, there are lot's of new packs that are being posted here.

Lot of these charts were intended for pad play so 90% of the packs are easy-peasy but people sometimes post difficult packs as well.

Also, there are lots of ancient custom songs on groovestats as well. No one plays them anymore but some are really fun (to me) so make sure you check them out.

Also, just letting you guys know that ALL these charts are ogg files instead of mp3 files. It doesn't really matter to most people but just pointing it out to people who think it does matter lol.

So I'm trying to learn index again. Apparently I lost all my index skill because I haven't played index in a long time, now I can't do streams at all. Any tips?

Didn't you pass Rocket Rider 1.2 back in the day on index? You can definitely gain that skill back haha.

Yes I did, but for some reason I can't seem to hit a couple of patterns anymore. >_>

I guess the transition from a flat keyboard to a mech KB did something, it feels a lot harder to index on a bulky keyboard, at least for me

Could asnyone link me to OITG and that black theme people use? I've never tried index before but I might, and I also have a CF pad collecting dust, maybe this will give me motivation to brush some dust off of that
