Yeah I'm not sure why Gun came out because the bodyguard is someone who deters, not prevents a kill. This gives us this lynch and the next to find a wolf and actually make use of the role.

I'm more insinuating I think Gun made a mistake and trying to find out if that is the case. It's the second time a role-reveal has been used improperly and I'm not sure if people knew when is a good time to do so, which would be a good thing to fix for future games.

not sure who would reveal their role so early (assuming that is his role).

pretty good assumption to make. we've got 3 power-roles, a counter-claim would force a killing scenario and we would know next day if the person was a wolf based on whether or not anyone received the seer-item.

Other than that, I'll prolly find some info that would be worthy of casting my vote on.

oh yeah? why the need to state it. you can't predict the future, you don't know if you will find someone worthy of your vote or if you will settle for safety voting or killing someone who seems suspicious enough. you are placing your expectations on the actions of others.

what determines the worthiness of your vote? what criteria are you using to establish your vote? why do you assume you will necessarily find someone worthy of your vote when you're just reiterating what's already said and not moving the game in any direction?

Essentially, Vic is pointing out that we can get the psychic to live for two night phases/ get the results of D1 & D2 before the psychic dies.

We can keep guarding the psychic 'til guardian is dead. Why would the guardian necessarily die on N3?

Actually, this should be in the thread anyway. I don't know why Gun hasn't done it yet.

BG & Vigi, should no counterclaims present themselves, you should go to gun and form your blue alliance.


From here, you have two choices.
A: let gun die and continue as a two person blue underground pair.
B: Try to make gun live as long as possible.
------Gun would make it to Day 3, and probably die night 3. This would cost us the BG's life and the Vigi's ability.

Ok so uhh, why would we have to use the vigi's ability in this timeframe? Don't see why it is a "cost" to us in this scenario.

The vigi's kill replaces the wolf kill, so esentially it's a global guardian for a night phase. Using it would extend gun's life another phase.

Bodyguard saves one life by sacrificing his own if they are targetted for the kill. Which is what I meant when we had two phases with the psychic. It's not a flat-out guardian role. Gun dying is just a matter of time at this point.

That said, discussing it is superfluous now I honestly just want to know if Gun knew that there was no guardian and still thought it was a good idea to come out when he did.

That said, I don't think it's a great idea to blow all the human's abilities to try and preserve Gun's life and if you DO do it, decide whether you want to do that privately and amongst yourselves. As of right now, there's really no deterrent in just targetting Gun for the next few phases.

Further, the vigi ability only takes place of the wolf kill if it's used on the same target, I think?

Actually I dunno, sign-up thread just says it replaces the wolf kill. So that could potentially work.
