I ran heroic Vaults last night and got my t7 healing gloves on my pally. Got the 28 SP enchant and socketed it as well. Sitting at about 1579 SP unbuffed. And I can't use the default UI, this is what my UI looks like.

Note that Def cap to be uncrittable, and accepted into heroics is 541.

The def FLOOR for heroics is 535 since in heroics the highest mob is level 82. The def floor for raids (and bosses who are considered by the game to be level 83) is 540.

I've been sitting at 545+ pretty much from 75 on. I haven't seen any satisfactory proof of the way that the attack table has apparantly been changed to remove the 102.4 cap for crushes. I hear that crushing is just gone, but I can't think of any reason why aiming for the 102.4 won't still push everything off the table except miss, dodge, parry and block.

Only mobs 4 levels above you can crush, therefore no mob in the game can crush a level 80 regardless of your defense.

Are you thinking of expertise? Because paladins don't really need that.

No, I'm thinking total avoidance, wherein to be immune to crushes by raid bosses, level 70s needed to have a combined miss/dodge/parry/block of 102.4% to push crushes completely off the attack table.

If level 80s can't be crushed, 102.4% should still make it so you don't get a clean hit from 83 raid bosses, but without crushes, it's much less important.

This is my druid, he's in pretty decent gear. I main tank nax10 and have done some of Nax25, then DPS/arena on other days.

Haha, Grats. Yea, I'm working on getting my SP up on my paladin. I'm at about 1800 unbuffed. I'll have my first full naxx run on tuesday with my guild (hopefully).

Defense cap is actually 541, not 540 Grandia. Without the 1 extra point you still have roughly a .02% chance to be critted and it's honestly not worth it to tempt fate like that.

Usually the giant bag mods have options to automatically sort items by quality/type. Like Gray items go here, reagents here, etc.

Also I only have two blue items left. After 25 man naxx today I should have enough valor emblems to buy my cloak then i'll just have my 111 stam blue trinket left and the rest epics =)
