I figure you of all people would have enough speed to just take them on. Have you tried practicing the transitions rather than the patterns themselves? It helped me quite a bit.

It actually has to do with awkward gaps. If it was an ongoing 16th stream without weird column syndrome, I'd actually do better - but with them by themselves like that with 8th gaps I'm much more prone to splitting them harder

Also lol speed =/= bursting one handed patterns (grind2 for example was a lot of one handed short trill crap with jumps for me)
