Funmonkey, I don't consider anybody, anybody in FFR not a friend. It doesn't matter whether as an acquaintance, real life mate or an internet buddy, give a quick chat and we're friends. If they're being a pain, then I just ignore.

but it's not spam if they are different people.

The combination of multiple users all posting the same one worthless line constitutes spam.

If someone were to go into chat and say "Everyone who thinks FFR is cool, press 1" They would be inciting spam, and everybody who posted '1' would be spamming. You don't have to individually put multiple lines or posts of crap to be spamming.

This challenge was essentially "Convince as many people as possible to come post nonsense in this thread in your name" Whether that nonsense was "a person's username" or "A number between 1 and 20" it was still spamming.

I see what you mean, but as to the thread it's not considered a worthless post if it is relevant to it... is it?

I'm not really sure... but posting one word is pretty lazy, and should contribute more than just that to a thread, in my opinion. That's why I usually go back to edit my short posts.
