Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I mean I don't personally like stargroup but he is a great step artist and that includes Bicycle Break.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Could you pull Delta Beat (0 Vector Mix) from the queue?
I'm unsatisfied with how I stepped those really fast lyrics in measures 43-50 and when they're repeated again at the end... Yeah. I would like to revise this a lot more. I reeaallly don't want another of my files going in when I'm discontent with it (e.g. Strawberry, Hadazamui Rittou, Progression, {Firestorm}... i.e., over half my files in the game). P.S. I was wondering if I could add a few notes at the beginning of Psychopathy 101 so there's no long pause at the beginning... and just replace that with the old file in the queue, because it won't be much of a difference. Wouldn't want to have to wait months for it to go through judging when I'm just adding a few notes where there wasn't any before. (Delta Beat still needs a lot of revising.) P.P.S. With jacks being fixed, it ruins one of the reasons why I stepped an uncut Forsaken Neon file, so I suppose you can ignore that. But if you're almost done with all the judging for the batch, I'd still like to hear what you have to say about it. I'll probably use that input to revise it and release it to the database. (Stargroup was right; there wasn't really a chance of it getting in, anyway.) But he could have said it more politely... Last edited by Silvuh; 01-31-2008 at 05:48 PM.. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Question: Are future -regular- batches (other than these last two) going to be judged differently because of the ave-miss fix, or will judging be relatively the same still? The question came up when I was thinking of making files later during the year.

gtfo stargroup. you're such a freaking loser. Daman doesn't deserve your flames (at least not now). He hasn't done anything.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Like I said i hate stargroup as a person and he hates me back but we both agree on something, he isnt a loser. He can make them simfiles. gud simfiles.
If everyone could step like him we'd have 90% better files. If not even 100%. ITT stargroup, teach me how to step damnit! lol |

robertsona, I don't really blame stargroup for saying what he's been saying.
CBR, of course when two people agree on the same thing they don't mind each other >_> Anyways, come on, guys... |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I have always said that stargroup has much more stepping exprience than me, never once have I questioned his stepping ability or skills, I just don't like his flaming and calling me a retard, because I am not a retard, and I don't believe I have done anything to deserve this flaming, but once it starts I get upset, and rashly write something stupid back, I just hate getting flamed all the time for almost no reason!

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
be artistically strong and have a good understanding of music
practice stepping 2 or 3 files and voila you make good files

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
oh and if you step something in a few minutes it automatically sucks; i typically spend 10+ hours on each file and then they start to get good
ps also it helps to listen to the song over a ton of times before you step it; plan it out, etc. |
