Re: League of Legends
Personally I think it's really easy to get the hang of Irelia, but she's difficult to master. Her skills are very simple and intuitive, but being able to use them effectively is much more difficult.
I've also tried playing with her in a duo lane and I can say that she's not that great. I think she belongs either in a solo lane or jungle. B*tch is absolutely nuts when fed though. O_O
Congrats.

Re: League of Legends
Trundle is ****ing fun as hell and I don't what anyone says he destroys.
His build is so easy to change to counter different shit.
NOT THAT I'VE HAD A CHANCE TO BUILD PAST 3 ITEMS RECENTLY

Re: League of Legends
I rarely see a good Trundle, but I have noticed that when he's good he is GREAT.
I recently used Sona for the first time and all I have to say is WOW she is a great support champion. Her R if used right with champs like Kat and Annie is just overpowered as fu, and as though Kat wasn't annoying enough in a lane, now she turret dives with heals lol.

Re: League of Legends
I know I'm good with Irelia, but I'm by no means great with her; however, I feel that I'm good enough to know when someone isn't good at her... at all.
At least for me, seeing a good Irelia is rare. Whether or not she is on my team, I'm glad to see one do well.
Same goes for me with Trundle.
Glad to see Mina is back. Time to get this thread heated up again!Comment

Re: League of Legends
Actually, I'm somewhere around +37.
I have a couple friends that like to play new champions without having any idea how they function.
(friend) "I'm gonna try this guy. How do I build him? What does my Q do?"
(me) "....shit"
I have one friend who is absolutely horrid with Kog'Maw, but insists on playing him. I cringe every time I hear "I'm gonna try and get better with Kog'Maw" because it's usually after I've locked in with a champ that I can't carry as well as I can with, say, Nasus or Singed.
Speaking of Nasus, has anyone seen his new skin in-game?Comment

Re: League of Legends
Announcement: You guys should definitely consider smurfing more often.
Recently, the best games I've ever played were smurf games. It actually less likely to get trolls and assholes when you're smurfing, because the people playing are new and therefore are more focused on learning and enjoying the game, rather than being narcissist players who get extremely cocky after winning.
Also, because they are new, they have this passive attitude, as they are not sure which risks are appropriate to take. This usually leads to games going far into late game, with both teams being very evenly balanced, unlike our level 30 games, which are more often one-sided, because teams know exactly how to take advantage of a clear lead.
But what makes these games amazing is that when your team is somewhat worse than the enemy team, the responsibility of leadership is put on your shoulders. The question is, do you have the strategic mindset, the understanding of the mechanics, and the social skills to push your team to victory?
These games usually don't appear until your account reaches level 10+, but assuming you start at level 1 and bulldoze through everyone, your normal ELO should rise pretty quickly, and you'll be playing these matches in no time. Nowadays, level 30 games only make me angry and want to quit playing the game, regardless of a win or loss, but being able to relive what made me love the game so long ago really means a lot.Rhythm Simulation Guide

Re: League of Legends
Looks like dicks, and not the beautiful kind of dicks
so basically you enjoy the metagame of new players and you feel good when you carry a team of people who don't know what they're doing vs people who don't know what they're doingOriginally posted by stargroupAlso, because they are new, they have this passive attitude, as they are not sure which risks are appropriate to take. you can still have DA RESPONSIBILITY OF LEADERSHIP at your regular skill level you know, but you know actually being good kind of sucks so let's just smurf
just for the record i blow hard hairy dicks at this game but i don't smurf
[edit]
yea, i don't have fun smurfing cuz either i'm 30/0 and just not enjoying it, or my team is getting aced because your rammus decides he wants 5 infinity edgesOriginally posted by bluguerillacan't tell if troll or not
I've had the complete opposite experience.
it's like beating on retarded kids and thinking you're fly
i mean ffs i played a game where the other team didn't know you could concede (my team had 2 smurfs and they were just dicking around and not pushing)Last edited by Xiaounlimited; 05-7-2011, 12:57 PM.Why would you put that in your signature?
