As retarded as I thought this was after a fast read, I actually think it's true. The scores you've been getting with that account are good enough to make many great players go down in the rankings.

There's no rules against alternate accounts and I'm playing on a different style, this is complete horseshit. I don't care that my scores are good enough to "move players down in the rankings", I busted my ASS to get good at downscroll play. In the span of five months, I went from D3 to nearly D6 and now I get rewarded with a scorewipe simply because I want to keep track of my progress?

This is completely asinine.

You're saying you worked really hard so you should be able to keep your alt, even if it breaks the rule. What about all the people who worked really hard and then did other things that broke the rules, like abusing glitches or cheating? Should they be pardoned too because of all the time they put into their account?

You're saying you worked really hard so you should be able to keep your alt, even if it breaks the rule. We don't. The alt accounts that were wiped were ones that people brought up themselves in this thread to be wiped or alts of people who were blacklisted already. The only other reason they're wiped is if there's one person making many alts intentionally to mess up the score boards.

Nobody said you didn't put effort AJ, but there are other people who worked years too and have goals related to their average rank. That being said, I don't see why your goal of getting good at downscroll would give you the right to slow them with their own goals.

nice to know that everyone is trying so goddamn hard to remove my scores from the leaderboards when I've actually taken this seriously and have been trying to build level ranks and tier points; I can't believe this.

i'm not cluttering up the scores as an alternate account playing the same style as my main, this is an account that I've put a LOT OF EFFORT into improving my scores on. I went from 100s of goods on Aim Burst to an SDG in five months. I've gone from mashing 400-500+ goods on FGOs down to < 100 because I actually care and try to become better at a particular style, and now I'm being told that it's bad?

how is my situation even -REMOTELY- comparable? I'm not flooding the goddamn high score boards; this is a completely different account, playing on a completely different speedmod and a different scroll setting. This makes no sense whatsoever.

and my scores being removed completely impedes my progress/track -- I'm playing under a different account with different settings as a different alias/different person; you guys saying that my scores should be removed is just like saying that a random user producing really good scores should be removed too because they're "impeding" other player progress.

Ziergdsx18 is only one example of someone who had alternate accounts but got wiped on them because they were filling up the scoreboards. Some of Anaru's alts are still up that I'll mention in the OP when it's updated, and he's blacklisted despite any effort he puts into his scores from previous actions.

I appreciate the effort put into a different style of play and it's impressive, but you also should consider the other players that played their tournament songs hundreds of times and still got eliminated. It isn't fair to them and they progress at a different pace than you do.

so, I should take note of the effort that people are putting into their songs, but should ignore the effort that I'm putting on my own.

I just sat down for two fucking hours playing Frictional Nevada nonstop trying to improve my score, dumping nearly 70 plays, and yet my shit doesn't matter. I should only be thinking about those who are trying, but not myself, who for the record, also has been trying really goddamn hard.

There are tons of people on this site with alt accounts for all different reasons. Whether a different playing style, or they don't want to be known by their main anymore and so on. There is no rules against having and playing on an alt account unless it's being abused like in Zierg's case where he was spamming multiple accounts as you mentioned or someone who is blacklisted because they're banished from the game. It's not fair to solely go after only one person's alt account. If we're banishing his then all others have to be as well and no one can make alts anymore. Somehow I don't forsee that going over nor working very well.

LOL comparing this to zierg is COMPLETELY stupid... Hes playing a different STYLE so its not just making an alt and cluttering up the score boards. Its pretty much the exact same thing as if someone played spread and then made a index account to get scores index on it, even if they DID get really good and fill up the leaderboards they worked their ass off on that different style. This is completely stupid guys.... Just stop lmao
