I remember when I had responsibility of this thread three years ago and there were over 100 scores on the OP...

Seriously though, it shouldn't be too hard to keep the OP updated considering that hacked scores don't happen too often. It isn't exactly the staff's responsibility to murk through a thread to find the problem when the users have the power to appropriately mark them as cheated on the first post, haha.

In any case, I can help out and compile all of the scores still hacked if you need it, Roy.

EDIT: holy christ, I didn't give myself enough credit - there were 213 scores on that OP before I stopped updating, lmfao.

Yet you raise this right now all of a sudden? I didn't know that's how it worked, because all of the previous cases were just dropping by in this thread when the discussions occured

If you think this is making staff look bad, I don't know what to say. I'm not going to argue, but I'll update the OP -- not sure why you'd just mention this all of a sudden.

Dossar you did know how it worked because you offered to take it over from me. It was brought up because you are complaining about scores not being taken care of when nothing has been updated in 9 months.

The problem is that for the past 20 pages we've basically been doing stuff along the way and not going by the OP, which is why it was surprising all of a sudden the OP issue is mentioned.

On another note, Jack Wolf back from page 3 has 5 FGO AAAs and looks like an alt, I don't know who though. I'll continue getting more stuff from the past pages.

I think Dossar's way of doing it was to directly ask staff members to deal with the suspicious users, rather than making them check the topic periodically. Considering that, it makes sense he wouldn't bother with updating the first post. Kayla's way of doing it is different but that doesn't mean either is wrong, they have just separately chosen different ways of doing things and neither can read the other's mind. Don't make this out to be some kind of big debate - you two just need to communicate about what you expect.


@Zapmeister: If you "don't see the point of taking the game seriously" then why bother playing at all? Why did you get all those FCs? Why would you care if you get blacklisted or not? You're only lying to yourself, really. And all that mashing, and lack of even attempting to get legitimate scores, is what makes you unable to AAA Spontaneous Hydroxide. It's 100% your own fault. And nobody wants a replay of the token AAA, they want proof that you have the skill to do it (as opposed to getting someone else to play on your account or something like that). It's certainly true that none of your OTHER scores show you have that kind of skill - and if I had to bet on it, not having seen the AAA, I'd happily bet that you don't.

Well I don't know which staff members he contacted directly but it wasn't me and I haven't really seen score wipes happening.

You're taking stuff too personally IMO. Someone else is in charge of this, and maybe they aren't doing what they're supposed to - I don't know. But if someone is criticizing them you shouldn't feel personally attacked/blamed just because you are both on staff. If you want to suddenly take on the responsibility yourself and fix it, that's great, but don't come out of the gate angry that it isn't being done the way you expected. That just makes it worse.

Both on staff? Also who said I was angry/taking things personally? I brought up that an update hasn't been done because there's complaints of scores not being taken care of. I don't see record in the last few months of scores being wiped from the logs I looked at so yeah I'm curious to know who he talked to about it.

Dont think the OP not being updated is a good excuse for something not being done. If you are staff you are on the site actively enough to where it shouldnt be hard opening the thread when there are new posts or skimming through a couple pages in the thread. If that process is too hard for you then you clearly do not deserve to be staff.

I'm sorry I don't handle the actual handling of anti-cheat because I don't know exactly what to look for to prove it. So no I can't just go through and go off speculation from users. I need the people who have the access to the anti-cheats and know what to look for to deal with that aspect of it. Plus staff members have different things they do on the site. Zaggy and Jon handle coding, JX and bmah handle game management (so technically I guess this would fall more under them), I handle events, and so on. I offer to do extra things within my capability, which means yes I can wipe the scores but I can't actually prove anything (other than an alt account if it's under the same IP).


I should probably note that Dom was the one to handle the actual wiping of scores previously but is away for work.

There's no specific person that's supposed to blacklist people and way more than two people on staff with the capability. I'm to the point with my posts because generally I'm multitasking things between school, my daughter or whatever else I have going on at that moment. So I'm sorry that they come off as angry or accusatory to you but it's not as though I'm speaking in a derogatory manner.

Good idea. Once the accounts/proofs are updated I can eliminate some of these people off the scoreboard. Just let me know because I'm going to be working on some class stuff for a bit.
