I don't understand the reasoning behind the possibilities provided. Any combination of the two could be equally true.

As for what have I done for town?

I'd say I've provided some fair town leans for many people. Maybe I haven't, and I'm just easily mislead by meta, but if I didn't believe I have provided them, then I wouldn't have voted at all.

But if I make it to 5/3, what part of my play concerns you?

this might be a bit of a doozy for you, but bear with me! do you have any justification on your vote for dbp beyond "someone told me to?"

being an annoying newb doesnt help town. wnb has significantly less posts than you but more content. he's offered up his thoughts pretty freely. this makes him, by virtue, townier than you.

the part of your play that woukd be objectively bad at final 5/3 is your inability to make posts that dont feel forced. you have not made a post that reads as fake, and that is not something we need when the game hinges on two dudes and a dog.

Again, I don't see the justification here. Though at this point, yes, I'm probably missing something important because I operate on like, 1 hour of sleep.

But, to be direct: Maybe, but leaning no at the moment because DBP reads wolf to me, and Charu reads town.

If a wolf was this invested in my towniness, then congrats, I have been played.

Granted, I could have just not voted, and as it stands DBP would still be dead.

But people don't like me being secretive, which is granted, virtually never helpful as a town, especially if for someone who isn't a special town.

Both parts of this analysis have biases.

The first, that I can't make posts that don't feel forced, is biased by the fact that you have yet to see a forced post. Trust me. It's obvious. I'm not great at hiding it. The "persona", which I barely upheld, probably is attributable to this.

The second, that I can't make posts that read fake, is biased by the fact that I have yet to have a reason to make a post that reads fake. I have nothing to gain from lying, hiding, or constructing at this point.

because I see dbp as sure a little different from the norm

But I think it's more a stylistic choice because while it is different, it's not drastic or gimmicky kind of different is the feeling I get

to be fair, I've learned a lot from the way that Charu plays as a wolf, I think that he does an incredible job of posting how he does as a human, but he does it to a fault based on the extra information he has from knowing his partners. I normally don't make associative reads unless its really late game and there are a lot of scum alive, but it just leaped out to me that its what Charu would do as a wolf there.

I think that I've kind of taken the way he plays as a wolf to heart, and I agree that if you can play that way, you should, but he really has a problem with TMI in my opinion.

I think I'm just tin-foiling, but am I the only one?

So, here's my thoughts thus far:

Lurker - Slight Town - Wouldn't head straight for wolf because obvious bait is obvious, but instead the proactivity in determining a new players meta is much more necessary for town than wolf.

j-rodd - Slight Town - During the initial bait, I was leaning a far-fetched wolf, but their vote was quickly targeted elsewhere, suggesting a simple town bait.

choof - Slight Town See lurker, but not as terrible at baiting.

DaBackpack - Slight Wolf - Definitely way too weak an intuition to even vote out of spite. I would have ignored the previously mentioned seemingly forced posting (as I said previously, I want to avoid judgments that rely too much on meta) if it weren't for the slight detail that they jumped on the bandwagon the instant there was a direct attack on me, for no other apparent reason.

Everything else is me feeling off about people because they feel off about me. So is the way of the werewolf game, not going to look too deep into those yet.

I have a few more town reads at this point, due to similar reasons as the other two, which was my main reason for voting over abstaining.

Basically, the way DBP echo'd attacks felt false and unmotivated, with no purpose other than to get me killed because I was an easy target.

sometimes i feel like you guys are really too eager to vote for DBP, if he hasn't done anything for whatever reason. im not talking like "oh phase is almost over and he hasn't done anything". i mean, if even 1/2 the phase has gone by and he hasn't done anything everyone is ontop of it. i also really dont like soundwave just jumping on the bandwagon to jump on the bandwagon.... i will also add that this is the perfect point for a wolf to jump on the dbp bandwagon because no matter what the outcome dbp is an easy lynch at this point.

that said... phase is almost over and DBP hasn't said much, and probably wont say anything more. dbp you are now at L-1 i believe
