ok FOR REAL THIS TIME 4th place in each division gets a single packet of ramen of their flavor of preference


same deal as last time except only one pack per prize since its a baby 0.5, and only the cheap stuff


international winners will get their prize in paypal cash form, as shipping for ramen internationally is ridiculous lol.

I'm also 3/3 for ramen prizes; 2 for official tournaments and 1 for benguins tournament so i should be cleared, yes?

It totally sucked that I have to be stuck here at home for like some months more. It's already like months here on being stuck. Even I may not enroll, still its a good idea.

Seems you forget the days when there were 10 user tournaments going on at a time all the time.
Also, there's really not. The rejected files tournament doesn't start till Jan, monstercat is over and the self-improvement tournament is in progress then this one doesn't start for two weeks.

There's nothing wrong with having a lot going on to keep people busy, no one is forced to sign up. Plus keep in mind with week long rounds many people get their score in then have nothing to do for the rest of the week. It's a good thing to have more to do!

Also, there's really not. The rejected files tournament doesn't start till Jan, monstercat is over and the self-improvement tournament is in progress then this one doesn't start for two weeks.

There's nothing wrong with having a lot going on to keep people busy, no one is forced to sign up.

As an additional point: the self-improvement tournament also stipulates that there will be no late registrations.

This means that any users wanting to enter any tournament will have this as the closest option, with no opportunity to do anything else in the immediate future.

Another tag-team post by you two lovelies whenever someone questions the decision-making, one response is more than sufficient.

If this was an unofficial tournament it would be much different and I do stand by what I said... we had an OT 3 months ago. Call it 13.5 or whatever but this is clearly a project borne out of boredom and a way to give out free tokens. The latter detail being the main reason why myself and likely most of the other users are signing up.

Running haphazard official tourneys like this lessens the exclusivity of the event tokens and is a bit of a slight against the users who had to work hard to earn them.

Man, people are never happy are they? "there's not enough ways to get the tokens" is what I've heard most often. We were planning on doing more tournaments, have been for a while. We used to do a TON more events too that allowed people to earn event tokens. We also have it to where users can even have tokens given away in their events if approved, and that's been in place for a long time.

The point is to engage the community and keep people wanting to play. We have a LOT more people that have come in from other communities as well who haven't had the opportunities over the last 18 years to earn some of this stuff.

Also, it's not "haphazard" I was already planning this before the other even ended.

It's hard, nay impossible, to keep a site with 100's of active users all happy all the time. I'm sure you know that all too well lol

In fact this is probably the first time I've really made an issue out of anything. For the most part the OT's are organized very well. This one just feels forced, cheapened in a way.

I suppose we will see how good the tourney files are!

Well, a lot of people are excited at the idea of a hybrid tournament with a mix of old and new and I am as well. I've wanted to do it for a while because doing all new files results a lot of times in us having to force things in slots that don't always work well. At the end of the day it's meant to be fun and a way to give out some more prizes. Especially now that I can toss physical prizes in here and there (I just need to make sure I can afford the shipping) since I make the stuff myself.

Also wasn't meaning it to sound like a you cause issues all the time thing, just a general "man I can't win no matter what I do." All i wanna do is engage the community and have some fun.
