If tournaments were completely fair everyone would be given their own division and prizes and everyone would be a winner; get over yourselves competition is unforgiving

People will use mirror regardless of how easy it is to do so and they've been doing it for years, trying to ban it is dumb as **** in my opinion. That would be like trying to ban screencut if speed mods were subby only.

If I were in a finals round and it came down to winning with mirror or losing without it and for some retarded reason my monitor was nailed to the desk, I'd grab real mirrors and set that **** up so I can win.

Though I'm not going to lie the probability of mirror deciding a large portion of the final rounds is pretty high, it's still stupid to try and ban it because of a couple of whiners

I honestly don't care if there's an advantage or not, because those who subscribe obviously get the benefits for the costs. However, aren't tournaments normally set up to have fun and reveal the active side of FFR? Because in the past few days, that's what I learned from this thread. Although I want to win the prizes and the token, I don't need it. There will be other opportunities where you can shine. I'm just here to have fun. Too many competitive people these days... and I do take the blame for being one of them.

I'm not banning mirror from the tournament - mostly because there is no way of me being able to tell if someone used it. If you want mirror, subscribe. People who help the site by "donating" money to it have a better chance at getting rewards from the site. I think that is fair enough. Besides, no one is stopping you from mirroring the old way. I'm sorry, but there is nothing in my power that I can do.

devonin's predictions seem off.

in any other tourney somone with lvl 8 AAAs would be put into high D2, and a few lvl 6 AAAs as low D2.

your telling somone who has only FCd level 7s that he would be in D2.

im sorry but i will get owned in D3, yes i will try my hardest if it comes to that, but im really hoping devonin is wrong here.

I'm pretty certain that I'll be in D2 because of being placed in that level last year. That and because I didn't make it farther than round three or four in memory...

Generally starting round three or four, if you don't at least nearly AAA a song, you don't cut it if I recall well, which is sad, because I'm not very good at AAAing. And last time, my record was AAAing a tricky difficulty song, and still haven't done any better so far. That and I haven't been active in quite some time...

May fun and button pressing be with all of us!

I've only AAA'd 5s, and FC'd 8s and I will be in D2.
