I build the Maw for Lane Sin along with Bloodthirster and Frozen Mallet (of course the boots you need accordingly). Usually with these 4 items you're sitting at 300~ AD with decent stats all aroundsigpicComment

It's an excuse bads make when they lose so they can feel better about themselves. Varus has a strong early game and is shitty later on. Graves is just good all around.

Only thing I can think of is that Varus outranges Graves, and can snare him down with the ult and his slow, plus the healing debuff counters the lifesteal most Graves get.Comment

Graves has amazing burst damage and Varus is quite squishy.

imo a counter to graves is maybe cait/sivir but that's saying a lot
graves really doesn't have a true counter. he's a really strong ad carry, thats really all there is to say lol his kit lets him get away so easily while dealing high dpssigpicComment

Graves can do fine against Sivir as long as he can bait out the spell shield by dashing in and hesitating. You'll force her to oom and then you can win trades easily. However, a Soraka support with Sivir makes this much harder. Sivir definitely has the advantage but she isn't a hard counter.Back to "Back to Earth"

If I play mainly support will my ELO be artificially low? I haven't hit 10 ranked games yet but I've played all support so far, so I have a negative k/d but tons of assists.Back to "Back to Earth"

As far as I'm aware the only thing that affects your elo is wlr, not kdr. If that was the case I'm sure there would be a large amount of players who would complain nonstop on the forums for months, maybe years, on end, and Riot seems to at least try to listen to reasonable requests like that. You do however receive lower amounts of elo depending on how many matches you've played, from what I've heard.
Wasn't suggesting build them on Twitch, it was an insinuation that the person is a metasheep that doesn't allow for thinking outside the box. The claims are largely unfounded and in all likelihood are untrue, especially given their response.
On a side note, someone told me about a high elo stream winning a match as jungle Cass? New FotM with unimaginable consequences inc lol.Comment

Only wins and losses matter. k/d isn't factored in at all. problem with playing mostly support is you can't carry games, which is what you really have to do when you start out in ranked. once you get up to like 1500ish you can start maining support with more success because people who have gotten to that point understand teamwork/strategies/map control.
