BestMte contacted D_C about my placement, let's wait for his call on this?

I'm not trying to give Team 666 an unfair advantage and will gladly switch divisions, it's just more difficult with teams already in place (as already mentioned). In addition, it looks like I'm not the only misplaced one, and if the concern is the degree of advantage we'll get, I feel that D_C can judge this best as host.

I understand that you're trying to keep this fair and fun for everyone, though, so thanks. These are just my thoughts. I'll be glad to be convinced otherwise over PMs!

When BestMte sent the PM out, I said the exact same thing: it would be best for us to wait for Tyler to settle it, haha. I just assumed that because of how large of a discrepancy there was between your skill level and what D3 should be that you'd likely get removed.

The problem is the lack of a replacement.

Next person to instigate something like that disqualifies their entire team.

I did manage to see the posts on my break before they were deleted. I don't want to have to be the autocratic asshole and put something like this in place but I feel like a pissed off parent right now, watching their children stamp their feet and hold their breath until they get their way. I've already stated my reasonings, I've already asked you to drop the rude comments, I've already asked you to direct all other concerns to me PRIVATELY. I'm tired of seeing 6-page flame wars in my thread, and I certainly expect better from staff.

YoshL did not place himself in D5. I DID. PLENTY of other people's opinion did. This isn't just some power-struggle decision to piss people off. To answer choof's question, talked to some of the Official's placers and while there are a few outlying concerns (those mentioned in here plenty of times by now) I've gathered a general consensus that high-D5 is still fine, and even the assisting placement tool suggests it.

Now please, KNOCK IT OFF.

@ llyair, if you have no problems I'd love for you to participate as D4, and press your luck with the other free entrants. One of the free D3s can take your spot, and with you being in D4 we can get that 10th team I was hoping for! I have no problems with holding off on the start a little longer to make sure things get situated comfortably.
