Re: League of Legends
First you have to win a game before wanting to get to 1500 elo
btw dat nunu support reeling in da kills. We really need to get everyone that plays LoL into the skype group, makes the premades a lot more fun if we get a lot of full games.

Re: League of Legends
Ideal Pre-Ranked play Check list:
1. Learn the basics of the game inside and out (Suggested minimum 500 games win/lose total, try to play some normal draft mode). With reading/study on the side. (Watch streams)
On top of champion info (Skills,Builds Habits), You should know:
-Current Meta (Strong Team Comps and Alternatives/ How to deal with them -Ex. Double Jungle, CC Heavy, Bruiser Heavy ect)
-Favourable Bans (Not simply a cut-paste list, know what counter-picks your teams strongest champions)
-Counter-Picks/summoners <<< (Soraka -> Karthus, Have exhaust to deal with AD, CC beats Katarina, Ignite helps against Mundo, Volibear, Vlad ect ect ect)
-Proper Communication Skills (Mias, planning ganks/dragon/buff guarding, helping to organize team strategy)
-Importance of Map Vision (Buying wards, placement)
-Positioning and Movement (To avoid team splitting or getting caught alone)
2. Choose a role or two to specialize in (Top solo/Mid/AP/Support/Jungle), and load up on knowledge/champions/builds. But keep yourself informed on as many champion builds and strategies as possible as it will help you against them in-lane or during teamfights
-Ideally you will want to know 5 champions per role you choose, at least reasonably well. In the off chance they ban 3 and pick 1.
-Know what you are expected to do as your role and practice as often as possible. (Leashing buffs, Warding, Ganking, Jungle routes ect)
Tips:
-Never ever ever ever solo-queue ranked, ever. Duo with someone you know IRL/Internet/Past Games ect.
-Even if they are completely mental, don't yell/flame at your team mates. Not only do you waste time typing instead of focusing on the game, it can really bring the mood down and that can have a major impact on player performance.
-You will lose ELO for Queue Dodging, being inactive @1400+ (I think it was 3 weeks without normal games, 4 weeks ranked)
Of coarse you can ignore all of this and have fun against trolls at 600 ELO.Comment

Re: League of Legends
I have no idea how I kept getting the kills. Sure a couple of them were from my ult. Oh man we baited that graves so hard early on. He actually dashed into the bush where I was channeling my ult and got blown up. But most of the time it was really from a random autoattack finishing them off. I'm not a selfish support ='(
And I'm in the skype group. I'd certainly be up for some games.Back to "Back to Earth"

Re: League of Legends
you only do this if you're very confident, duo q'ing artificially inflates your elo and chances are you'll be the bottom 2 picks against players that can be up to 400+ points above you (which means even if you are capable of carrying you probably won't be). Which is totally fine if your'e comfortable playing at whatever level that may be but can be incredibly unpleasant if you aren't prepared for it.
Also just speaking from personal experience if bot lane fails hard and backs each other up while simultaneously blaming everyone else on the team it's always a duo q playing 250+ points out of their league.
also skype group chat i missed something wat
e: then again from a learning experience standpoint duo q'ing way out of your true elo range and getting facesmashed is probably the best way to figure things outComment

Re: League of Legends
If you ever wanted to study every champion's build, I'd recommend trying some TT's. The Builds there are always interesting. That is where I saw the 2 IE Garen Build actually :P
