Edit: I'm also going to add that I have probably at least a dozen people that are saying they've had skill drops and it puts me in a crappy position because if I move people too far down that have the potential to get skill back that could be unfair and if I leave the people too high they get killed. But if you're say in the A part of a division but want to be in the B one don't stress it so much because you guys play the same songs and I can always move people up or down within a division at anytime without there being any issue.

Just to clarify (because I'm one of those people :P ) that means that if someone is obviously getting killed in A then you'll move them down to B, right? If so, then I'll chill in A. (And you should show us whose files got accepted like before, at least on DF again xD just curious as always.)

if we run into the unfortunate event of not using certain files, I think Kayla's plan was to mass release them all onto DF.

yes, you were one of the ones we're stuck on cause I know what it's like to have that kind of skill drop [I was stuck getting D2 scores too] but I know that it can easily come back as well. So it's like you were D4 material before the drop, doing D2 ish scores but the potential is there kinda deal so it was a tossup. But when it's within a subdivision we can move people up or down easily since there's no score difference. We did it with a few people last tourney. And the 2nd part of the message I planned on it, we've just gotten so many that I'm trying to get together something more organized lol.


With that being said I really really need to focus more on getting the songs finished up and such so any placement issues please PM them to me so that I have them in a spot that's easy for me to notice them and doesn't get buried in the thread and I will look over them. I want as fair of competition as possible. And Haku I'll move you up now.

Combination of levelranks, grouping with other players in an initially established group (pre-divisional setup), and scores/ranks on more recent songs (since those obviously catch more of your current skill in comparison to songs that have been around for awhile).

Also, progress on things:

- divisional placements are near finalized, which is nice.
- sync normalizing is nearly finished, so conversion can be a speedy process rather than a trial & error process
- close to half of the files are rated in difficulty
