I think the lack of notes at beginning and low nps, just makes this song bad for whoring, at least for this kind of situation where you want to get points the fastest way possible.

Hey, I have a question. Is this legal for getting vROFL (or for playing FFR in general)?

One person has two computers and two keyboards. The person plays with one hand on each keyboard, mashing quads.

contemplating going for this tomorrow...

or some time this week any way. with 2 pc's and quad mashing lolo i might be able to pull it off.

I don't see why, if he's personally playing FFR on two computers at once. It's the equivalent of having two windows open - people do it on MMOs all the time, why not rhythm games? :P

Because it will theoretically take you half the time that it takes to do it with one computer. The point of the 1 bil is to test how long you can stand playing ffr lol. It would defeat the purpose.

Yeah, it would defeat the purpose. So how about... just not awarding vrofl for it? Blacklisting is IMO a pretty serious overreaction, since we're not talking about cheating, just someone cleverly bypassing most of the challenge of a particular achievement. The only reason nobody uses two computers for normal play is that it's far, far worse for everything *but* grandtotal whoring - not that it's really wrong or unfair.

I can tell you that vrofl isn't worth the effort. I think I've played it enough to figure that much out. 2 More hours to see how much I can get in 9 complete hours. Should have waited till tomorrow :/

play the first 1000 notes 1500 times, you'll work out a pattern.

The first 1030 or so notes contains:
- a bunch of 8th hands and quads, alright, that part's easy
- 5 16th hands/quads in a row
- 16th/12th polyrhythm trills
- 16th/12th polyrhythm nonsense with five 0-framers
- about 4 measures of 200bpm 16th jumps (forming plenty of jacks).

You're saying you figured out how to hit this with no boos just by playing it a lot?

Yeah there are - at 200 bpm a 32nd jack is just slightly too slow to possibly be converted to a 1-framer, so it needs to be a faster interval than that. The 16th/12th polyrhythm stuff is simply the only place in the song with fast enough jacks to generate the 0-framers that we know are in the file.

I can show you where it is in the level data if you want. Or I can show you a picture of that section, your choice.
