b) NEVER place a ward outside of bot bush like a moron
c) ever place a ward into the far end of the top left bush of bot-lane

Also, yeah I haven't touched ranked at all, I'm not comfortable enough mechanically. I've been 30 since about 150 wins, and I'm near 220 now, but i dont see myself playing ranked until ~350 with more learned roles and bought champs.

Just spent 40 minutes in a game where the entire enemy team dedicated themselves to shutting me down. I'm talking perpetual 5 man dives since level 6, two building thornmail and both the ap and ad carry focusing me at the start of every fight. I was an 0-1 twitch when this shit started cuz of a lag spike, somehow ended up even and lost anyway. So annoying. Also ranked is overrated and it's easy to get dragged by trolls or bads to an elo you don't belong in, then getting stuck in it through sheer bad luck. Sure, the enemy team has just as much of a chance of getting trolls and bads as yours does, but bad luck does happen, and quite frequently it seems. Especially since they take into account whether you're streaking wins or losses together. All it takes is one small losing streak to shatter your elo early on, and a much higher win streak is required to even it out.

Or maybe I just suck and normals do a poor job of reflecting it.

I signed up to own3d.tv just so I could follow mina.

Sometimes I get annoyed when I want to learn a new champ. My normal elo is good enough that I look totally terrible whenever I do this. I can do Dominion games but that only gets you the feel of the champ, not the mana conservation or other niceties. I wish I had a level 30 smurf...

The main problem is I want to learn Olaf but you can mess up SO SPECTACULARLY with him it's not even funny.

The main problem is I want to learn Olaf but you can mess up SO SPECTACULARLY with him it's not even funny.

Put a point in your axe for easy harass at the start, max e first and bully your opponent out of the lane. Don't be afraid to 1v1, the enemy will likely lose because of your passive as long as you don't fight them on a creep wave or something. If you're having a rough time put a point in w earlier than you normally would for the lifesteal. I normally max q after e because idiots who try to fight you in melee range will have to deal with two nukes with low cds alongside your built in lifesteal, attack speed, and tankiness.

I normally do a different build than normal Olaf players, I pick up a wriggle's and bloodtirster early on and eventually replace wrig's with a second bloodthirster. Used to give like 80% lifesteal total with your w up, but idk what the new numbers are. It's hilarious walking into a team and 1v4ing, healing for 800 every hit while being un-cc-able. Downside to the build is you're much more glass cannon than olaf normally is, but I find it a fair enough trade off since you can drop people much faster than normal and your lifesteal happens to give quite a bit of tankiness, assuming you aren't being kited.

Honestly though every game before level 30 is basically meaningless. You want at least 200+ games in normals after hitting level 30 before you try ranked and believe me this is for your own good more than anyone else's.

For the record I was only curious as to how long it would actually take to get that many wins.

And figured I would play along.


Will have to watch you stream next time you're on since you appear to frequently play champions I really like.

That ARAB. There were some sexy Qs in that game.

Could have stopped the cap there at the end though.
