Slider return. Missing one doesn't break your combo (only slider ticks do), which explains why you sometimes see a combo discrepency of 1~3 in top 40 scores.

However, I may be misinformed. Maybe it's the other way around.

yeah you lose 1 combo (but not break) if you get a 100 on a slider

not gonna lie, my tabret spinning is aite (need more stamina though !!)

also you could try following the approach circles, i don't know any other way than just to whore the crap out of them for a while. another way is to find the right mouse sensitivity for yourself but that should come in time xd

You need to seriously practice note snapping before you can really stream well. Go watch one of taNa's replays; the way his cursor snaps during streams makes my head spin.
