When you are under age it is not illegal to drink that is only when you gaurdian gives you permission. However,if you are aloud to drink with permission of your legal gaurdian it is illegal to get drunk. If you were to get drunk,your legal gaurdian will be arrested.

I've heard managers of stores will look you up on myspace/facebook etc and see if you do any illegal stuff, and they've rejected people applying for jobs because they found evidence of people drinking and smoking pot.

Also, you guys may think drinking is really cool and fun, but in reality it's just a stupid thing to start to make a habit of. Of course occasionally drinking with your friends is acceptable, but what LD did was completely ridiculous, imo. Getting drunk every night for a week, and it looked to me like he just did it to "fit in", and then started to brag on it online to everyone who doesn't give a **** (like me)? Yeah, way to be a tool.

Yeah my grandpa was an alcoholic too. My sister drinks, now. I'm kind of scared for her. That's why I don't drink, because I believe I would probably get addicted.

Some people are "genetically predisposed" to alcoholism, which means they really don't have a choice but to get addicted after one drink. It tends to run in families. So, if alcoholism is prominent in a family, a majority of members will have a predisposition, and maybe one or two won't. The reverse is true as well.

It's not that alcoholics are pathetic, they just can't help it.
