Making dance music in odd time signatures has always sort of interested me even though I've never really tried it until now. This one's a really rough outline for maybe something to come, but it's in 5/4

pretty cool house melody that came to me, so i just made this (pretty non-uplifting thats why i like it probably lmfao)

lacks fx, mixing on mostly everything and mastering but hey its pretty catchy so far imo (name is dumb disregard)

Your bass synergizes really well with your kick drum when it comes in. Your first lead synth starts to sound like an alarm going off to me after it hearing it repeated so many times. Maybe adding some variation to that would lessen that effect.

I definitely like your percussion, it's very true to its genre.

yeah thats definitely my biggest gripe with my production in general right now, I'm too repetitive. I'll try to work on it haha song is already 4 minutes long by now with some pseudo-mixing/mastering.

If I feel as creative as today I'll try to finish it. (dont forget that the elements in the song still need proper EQing, even though it works "okay" there are still things competing for space as of now)

Anyways, enough blabbering, but I'm happy I could make a 4 minute song (wip) today -- I've been stuck making 2 minute songs at most for months now.
