He's proven willing to lie, to deliberately make us kill someone who could almost certainly be town, in the name of his wincon. I think yes, at this point, even if he's 3p we want to seriously consider killing him. I'm certainly willing to consider that he's pulling some kind of bre'r rabbit shit with suddenly hard town claiming Daikyi and I have as little faith in what he says now as I had in Antori. Even if sunfan can win with town, if he's going to throw town under the bus to get there, I don't want to let him.
Oh for sure. I'm absolutely willing to believe that a wolf kill got blocked in some fashion, but sunfan was using Daikyi's having a guarding ability as -proof- that it was him who got the kill on him and got saved to push a hard "Therefore I'm anti-wolf" narrative, but Daikyi didn't need to save anybody, just target literally anybody and that was all he had to do. Could it be the case that the night kill was on sunfan and Daikyi blocked it? Sure. Is it even remotely proven? Even daikyi was doubting whether sunfan was actually worth keeping alive and he's the one who put the guarding action on him.
Though in his defense here, he said he started at level 1 and was now level 3. You were told "He has three levels he can earn and he's on the second" You're taking that to mean "he is level 2" but if he is on "the second of the three levels he can gain" and started at 1, he'd be level 3 now on his way to level 4, the third level he can gain.
Though by 'in his defense' I mean 'to explain the confusion' and not actually to defend him. This whole thing is extremely rubbing me the wrong way.
For sure. Which could mean there's another person or people who can block, or could mean somebody had a bulletproof vest that got soaked up, or X I Z M E C H A N I C S, and while it lends some strength to sunfan's narrative, what it doesn't do is -actually hard prove he's somebody wolves want to kill-Comment

Like, the narrative is changing from both directions as each one decides to be a little more specific about what they said and the other one adjusts accordingly. This whole thing is going to give me an aneurysm.

It's an anchoring thing.
I came into the day already suspecting daikyi of being a wolf, so when the day started and sunfan came out with a seering and a hard red claim, that confirmed my suspicions.
Now as sunfan's whole story collapses, and it's looking more and more like Daikyi's at least not a wolf, if not full on town, it's not as simple as just "Oh guess he's town" because the seering anchored my suspicions and now I've got to like...mentally undo all that and then mentally re-cast all of Daikyi's actions as what it means if they're not wolfy.
If nothing else this shows me the danger of sunfan's play here.Comment
