The contrast is really frightening. There's a blinding white flash covering over most of the text, making it virtually unreadable.
Tone down your use of saturating layers and focus more on having your renders blend in with the details of the rest of your sig.
quick sig I made for a friend of mine. (She liked the style of my other sigs.)

How are all of you so good at Photshop while I can barely understand it?! And how do you get those amazing backgrounds???

Yeah, I was going to put a border on but unfortunately I'm not extremely photoshop-literate and didn't feel like taking the time to draw the lines, so I just said "**** it" and finished.

new layor>ctrl + A
Edit>stroke>3 pxl blk then 2 pxl white then 1 pxl blk then over lay or soft light then erase some of it so it doesnt stand out alot OR
just 2 pxl blk and soft light and erase some(i use that method)
DONT DRAW LINES! THEIR FOR FATTYZ.take the easy route and do that ^

Ctrl+shift+N (with upper most layer selected in the layer panel which can be made visible in the windows bar)
OK
ctrl+A (with marquee tool selected)
EDIT > stroke > enter pixel width of stroke (1-3 px for signatures is good)

your snowflake brushing turned out pretty, albiet it looks basic. What I think you really need to work on first at the moment, is the font. It's really...REALLY bad, and hard to read. The text can actually make or break a work. I'll show you an example when I get back home from school.
Also, as for where I get my fonts from- The CD that my computer came with =PComment
