Mid level players will post good scores on 9s/10s, and will get a response if they're lucky.

Lower level players will post decent scores on songs lower than a difficulty of 9, and will typically get ignored. The lack of encouragement from people within the last two will cause frustration because it seems like no one else cares.

With that being said, lowel level players need a place where they can post what their accomplishments are, and have them actually be noticed. It's not fair that they can't venture into the FFR scores thread because it's entirely composed of elite players. In here, players who are playing lower/mid-level songs for scoring, or higher level songs for FCs, can actually be noticed and can take pointers from those who have done so. The point of these threads is to share their scores, and if there's no one to share the scores too, then there's no point.

The reason why I'm getting frustrated is because the reasons that people are mentioning for this thread to not exist are just completely stupid.

EDIT: ninja'd as fuc by Lonew0lf
Which is all fair enough, but again, why not cut out the ambiguities by making threads with clearly-defined cutoffs so we don't have people AAA'ing "borderline hard ****" in the "amateur" thread, which will just cause more needless arguing? Maybe an easy thread for Difficulties 1-4, a medium thread for 5-8, a hard thread for 9-10, and an elite thread for 11+? etc etc.

I feel like even with a simple "amateur" and "non-amateur" split, you'll still get discouraged newbies in the wake of people AAA'ing level 8's. Why not cut down the problems past the points of uncertainty?

Or I post there because the point of the thread is to post scores in it. lol. I dont whine when nobody comments it or notices it like half these people do hence why this thread was created.

If you're able to FC up to the final runs of the song, it might be worth while to learn how to sub-divide the patterns. The entire run is a 24th run, so you have a tiny bit of leeway to slowly jumptrill for the stream. It will rack you up a fair amount of goods, but it's a good alternative and will nail you the FC just so as long as you transition from the split pattern into the rolls (from which you can probably do normally).

Yeah, so. Even though SOME PEOPLE may think this thread pointless, I'm posting a score. On an FMO. That wouldn't get any sort of response otherwise, even though I worked my ASS off to get to this point.

That's why this thread needs to exist. People like me, and lower lever players work their butts off to get the best scores they can, but they're just not good enough.

I know what messes me up normally, it's the conversion from 4132 or whatever the funky pattern is to 4321, that's pretty much ALWAYS where I'd get the miss. I actually hit the first pattern once with barely any goods (probably that really good run) but then messed up on the conversion >.<

Patashu mentioned this and I personally don't see this as a bad idea. Regardless of this though, there's still going to be people who don't care about the ideas and will argue it with no reason whatsoever.

Not too bad, the other counts are actually decent compared to the 100+ good count. One of the toughest things to do with this song is to maintain the speed needed for the trills. One of the things I did to practice this song was to do the trills by only hitting the red and purple notes within them only (which is only straight 12th notes). Once you do that, you'll have the exact speed of how fast a single hand should be going; all you have to do after that is match that speed and offset your taps in one clean, smooth motion. Nailing the trills in entirety could easily yield you a score with half of that good count, with a little bit of practice.

Actually, the trills aren't what mess me up. xD It's everything else. I'm usually pretty okay with the trills, good count wise, and miss wise.

Really? Well in that case, I guess the best thing to do is follow the song by ear and figure out how the steps correspond to them. Some of the patterns are a little bit dense -- have you thought about increasing your speed mod a little bit so that you can see them better?

If you've played the song a good deal, your muscle memory will help you carry through the parts that you know well, and the increased speed mod will help you read the parts that you don't.

EDIT: OHN GET OUT OF MY HEAD
