      I still dont see why Strangeprogram is not a Oni unlock, that song is pretty tough, you need the speed and the patterns are somewhat awkward imo. It only has 63 AAA's and 12 goods is needed to be top 200 as well as it is a old song. So why not?

        Strangeprogram should definitely be an Oni unlock. It's much, much harder than J&C.

          It is defiantly strange that they don't have strangeprogram unlock oni. I know if I were to suddenly pull off a AAA on that song I wouldn't believe it. I really have no idea why some For Masters Only songs don't unlock oni.

          What the skill token says:
          "AAA a For Masters Only song to unlock Otaku Speedvibe [Oni]"

          So why then, can't every "For Masters Only" song unlock oni? It would just make more logical sense to have EVERY "For Masters Only" song unlock oni, or at LEAST at the minimum change the phrasing so that it says

          "AAA any For Masters Only song specified on the FFR song difficulties page to unlock Otaku Speedvibe [Oni]"

          I really don't care if the For Masters Only song is a little easier than some of the harder ones in the same difficulty...it is still pretty difficult to pull off regardless...and also considering they have decided to move all of the lower difficulty "For Masters Only" songs to "Very Challenging" for the most part...them being "too easy" shouldn't even be an issue at this point. I mean looking over the FFR song difficulties:

          77 (M) Hajnal (2000 Notes / BPM 174)
          77 (R) The Divine Suicide of K [Heavy] (2495 Notes / BPM )
          78 (D) Lawn Wake I (LW EP Edit) (1417 Notes / BPM 215)
          78 (S) Midnight Dragon (1396 Notes / BPM 180)
          78 (M) Epidermis (1277 Notes / BPM 200)
          78 (S) Rottel-da-station (1218 Notes / BPM 200)
          78 (P) AIM Anthem (736 Notes / BPM 110)
          79 (C) Flight of the Bumblebee (862 Notes / BPM 398)
          79 (S) Strangeprogram (1442 Notes / BPM 215)

          There are songs listed as 2 less on the difficulty range...that unlock oni, opposed to strangeprogram not unlocking it, which is really strange. I really don't see any reason why that song or other songs that are labeled "For masters only" in the game cannot unlock [oni]. That it my opinion anyway.

            It's because they think they have too many AAAs already.
            I don't think this makes any sense, either. I mean, they ARE harder, they should still unlock [Oni], regardless of AAA count.

                its really not an 'easy' index file. its an index file for sure, but its extremely fast and towards the end has awkward patterns

                    I really want to know...why is it that this song is NOT allowed in for [Oni], as well as other songs...if it really has nothing to do with the AAA count.

                      Keep in mind that the AAA counts were different when they changed this.

                        Rottel-da-station should be changed to 75; the majority of the song is Very Challenging difficulty, and apparently a lot of players have trouble with the beginning even though it isn't that hard. It's probably the easiest FMO I've played, I AAA it practically every time I try it.

                        I'm still puzzled on the AAA count on Balloon Fever - that song could be a debatable FMO but it has 201 AAA's I mean wtf

                            The reason is that this song used to be the easiest song that unlocked Oni (I think for some reason they didn't remove it right after avmiss fix) so a ton of people unlocked the token through that song. Of course there were a lot of legit people but also a lot of less-than-legit people who might have used trainers or gotten someone else to do it, but who fell under the radar because so many people had AAA'd the song already.

                              This. The token clearly states a FMO AAA. That should mean any of them. I'm sorry but just because this was supposed to be an extremely hard song to AAA doesn't mean that people can't get better. Eventually a lot more people were going to AAA a FMO. It's just theory in itself. Taking it away from people that are trying to get better, myself included, it seriously is not fair.

                              The requirement for [heavy] is very clearly stated. It tells you exactly the difficulty. The [ONI] unlock is very broad, and it should be exactly what it says. ALL FMO'S SHOULD UNLOCK ONI. Period.

                                You guys are fighting a losing battle with the Oni thing. I already brought that up when they redid the songs that unlocked it not to long ago. I agree, but it's a losing battle.
