So I have a question.
I just got Udyr, and I played 4 games with him, 3 of which my team sucked, so we would always lose our team fights (I play TT) but the one that I had won, I used this build. (Lantern + Merc Treads [Usually will get Merc or Ninja Tabi] Madreds, Wits End and that is all I got done by the time it was over, and I was 10-3.
Now one of my losses, our Lee Sin thought he was too underleveled when our Kennen and I were level 8 [Solo XP'ing] so he just sat in fountain to chill. We would do 2v3 fights, in which I'd give Kennen all the kills [Cause I'm a nice guy]. We ended the game losing but Kennen went 12-3 and I went 9-3. My build was: Ninja Tabi, Lantern, Madreds, Warmogs, Atma's [I only did this at the end, to see what my AD jumped to, I know that Crit does nothing for Udyr since his Turtle Stance gets rid of any crit.] and a Thornmail.
Anyone have any better builds, I usually go Solo Top, and do a mean job at it while stealing jungle?

This... was just.... I have no answers for it. Probably the worst argument over LoL I've seen.

i had someone tell me once that apen didnt do anything until you got 100% because "even if its 99% the armor still blocks the dmg u need 100% to go through the armor dumbshit"

Such an idiot. No matter how much Penetration you have for either type, you just divide the damage it is supposed to do, to the percent of Pen you have, and add it to the total damage to let you know how damage it'll really do, and how much armor (technically) the other champ has that will be blocked

iirc there is a skype conference that goes on every once in a while when enough people get on

ffr chat channel is used occasionally, mainly to see if other people are on so premades and such can be had

On dominion certainly, but on SR? Definitely debatable.

I don't think AD Sion beats or can even lane against any popular solo mids, so you would have to run him top, and I can't think of a lot of solo top champions I would want to run AD Sion against. Singed, certainly, or Cho'Gath or other 0 lane threat farmville champions, but that's about it.

Also, running him AD is contingent on: 1. Getting to late game, and 2. Getting to late game against a team without hard CC. Nukes aren't so much a problem, since that can be overcome with flash-stuns and good positioning...but getting disabled or knocked out of a fight can shut down AD Sion completely.

But assuming you get to late game and you are good on the criteria above...you basically win.

IIRC I've gotten 3 penta kills in LoL. One was as Vayne and the other two were as AD Sion.



Edit: After thinking about it, you could probably run AD Sion in jungle, but I've never seen it. Anyone know anything about how viable this is?

running AP means your "big" source of damage would be your shield & your Q.
granted the AP ratios are pretty ridiculous - but then you realize shield & Q are not spammable spells.

on the other hand sion's R gives him lifesteal which would be beneficial with stacked AD and attackspeed. i feel that the money invested in for AP doesn't pay off as much as it should.. and because sion's E requires HP, building attack damage & tanky, i feel, is more beneficial...

also the debate's not ad sion or ap sion VS other champs, it's just is ad sion or ap sion better (in general)

maybe it's just me.. i just never see ap sion work properly because he lacks proper cc besides his q & sustain without lifesteal & ad
